  I stayed at crown plaza jacksonville fl airport rd sept 22nd to25th I really disappointed alot of renovation was taking place which made it very loud the room was not very clean the bathroom had alot of rust and the water temp was not very hot the refrigerator didn't work properly .I move the television over for a better view only to fine enough dust to make sick I have never been so disappointed it was disgusting. It would have been more accommodating to know before hand that you hand to pay for parking.I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. Crown plaza you all need to be ashamed.

  The shuttle driver on Christmas night was the best driver I have ever had. He was so kind and patient when I couldn't find the pickup point (different from what the website says). He greeted me with a huge smile and was great to talk to after a long day of traveling. The front desk clerk was equally kind and friendly. The room was great and easy to find. In the morning, I got coffee and yogurt from the coffee shop. She was great and everything was tasty. The lobby is very big with plenty of comfortable seating to wait for your ride. I would stay here again if I ever cruise out of Jaxport again.

  Disappointing stay despite IHG Platinum status I had a frustrating experience at this hotel. At check in late night, we were given key cards that did not work. After waiting about 20 minutes outside room, we were told it was due to a door battery issue and had to move to a different room on another floor. Room telephone doesn't work. The room itself was not comfortable. The AC was very loud and there was no real control from the room. Basic toiletries were not provided, the room had an unpleasant smell, and it felt cramped. The property claims it is renovated, but it did not feel renovated at all. Refrigerator was not functioning properly and no inroom microwave. Breakfast was another negative. The staff came across as rude, and there was no microwave available. When we asked if they could heat milk, they refused, and takeout support was not helpful either. Cleanliness needs work. Carpets looked dirty and the bed linen was sloppy. Overall, this was disappointing, especially as an IHG Platinum member.

  Do not accept a room in tower two. Hotel is pet friendly and the room wreaks of wet dog. Burned out light bulbs not changed as we expected housekeeping to take notice and report it to maintenance.There are many other choices in the area with much better accommodations. Management sent an automated questionnaire of satisfaction. Explained the overwhelming smell of WET DOG and wrote to see if it could be mitigated. The request was never acknowledged.

  Definitely felt catfished by how nice the lobby was vs the rooms. Paying for parking lot parking with no security is ridiculous. Had to switch rooms twice because of cleanliness. Weird stains on everything. Musty smells, AC needs some maintenance. Heard the guy in housekeeping say there was a linen shortage… Gym equipment was in horrible shape only one treadmill worked, the weighted balls were broken. First and last time I will stay at a Crowne! The only good thing about the place was the front desk staff.
