    I didn’t stay here just wanted to leave a review about my experience visiting a guest of this hotel. While visiting someone I know that was a guest of the hotel, I had an experience with the front desk clerk that was so compassionate I had to leave a review. I believe her name was Michelle. I had an interaction with Michelle because the guest I was visiting turned out to be a nightmare of a person! Long story short while visiting the guest, my dog was attacked by her dog. The guest took some of my belongings. Michelle intervened when I was trying to retrieve my keys so I could just leave. It was late at night, a complaint was made about me knocking to retrieve my keys. Which is understandable, Michelle sprung into action. When i went to explain the situation, she immediately took my dog and I to the lobby to ensure our safety. This situation could’ve been handled one of two ways with grace and compassion or impatience and rudeness. Michelle chose grace and compassion that night. She dealt with the guest and tried to get my key back, didn’t happen. She stayed with my dog and I until my ride arrived. You don’t run into selfless people often nowadays and I was blessed that evening. The property itself is nice as well and really close to the beach and close enough to get over the bridge to get to whatever the beaches don’t have to offer.

    They were so nice and friendly from the time I arrived until the time I left even though it's distressful period They were very accommodating and I look forward to seeing there again.It's my choice of preference for the beaches area.

    The staff were very friendly, but due to a food allergy, I requested gluten-free and lactose-free food in advance at reception and then again at breakfast, and there were no options.

    I’ve stayed at this Holiday Inn Express many times over the years and have always chosen it for its reliability and convenience. Unfortunately, my most recent visit fell far below the standards I’ve come to expect. The number and severity of issues during this stay significantly impacted the quality of my experience. During this visit, I encountered: Ants throughout the room and bathroom, including on my cosmetic bag and even on my contact lenses A dog sitting on the lobby couch while being fed from the breakfast area Multiple dogs barking for more than ten minutes before 8 a.m. Two ripped duvets, along with hair in the bathroom, on several towels, and on the toilet and tub Hallways and common areas that were visibly in need of vacuuming A shower door that didn’t seal properly, causing water to pool on the floor—my husband slipped while getting out of the shower When I called the front desk to report several of these concerns, the staff member I spoke with was dismissive, which added to the frustration. I’ve always trusted this location, but this stay reflected a troubling decline in cleanliness, maintenance, and overall guest care. I made several attempts to speak with management and corporate so these issues could be addressed; however, I was told they had already spoken with me and that I had accepted 20,000 IHG points to “close the case.” This is not accurate—I received no calls or voicemails from anyone at IHG. I truly hope this property takes these concerns seriously, as I would like to return to the level of service and cleanliness that made me a loyal guest in the past.
