Rooms are decent sized and updated. AC was so loud. Getting out of parking on Marsh Landing Pkwy was challenging with constant flow of traffic. Breakfast was good and Lori took care of the area so well even though it was only her third day on the job. Good laundry room (appreciated Tide soap and Snuggle sheets on the house) and gym.
What we don't appreciate is the homeless guy helping himself with coffee and front desk personnel didn't do anything. Anyone can come in? How safe are the guests? What about the cleanliness of the food/dining area? Also, they allowed pets. I believe that guests with pets are assigned first floor or designated rooms only. The room across us on fifth floor had a dog that was annoying. Glad they stayed for one night only so we didn't make a big deal. Some hotels have designated rooms for pets and concentrated on those rooms to clean thoroughly because guests pay pet fees. Also, what if these pets have fleas? It'll be the guests that will suffer. Also, please do nlt let any pets by the food area. Please consider for the sake of other guests who are not pet owners but love your hotel. Thank you.

Was one of the best Hamptons that I have stayed at. Very clean common areas. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this property.

Fantastic stay for Mayo Clinic patients and athletes!
Super close to the Mayo Clinic and offers a special Mayo Clinic rate.
Outstanding, newly remodeled fitness center with a Peloton bike, real dumbbells, and a cable machine— not your typical hotel gym.
They had a great breakfast with plenty of options.
Overall, it was very clean and well maintained.
I highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay here again! 👍

The bed was the best part of this trip!! I melted into it and had no back pain the entire trip. The breakfast stations were great too. Pet friendly.

This is the 3d Hampton Inn where, over the past yr, my phone connected to the property WIFI, but my chromebook couldn't--some sort of network gateway issue, whatever that is. My off-the-shelf chromebooks used to work in Hampton Inns and continue to work in the Marriott chain, but not anymore, and front desk clerks are no more able to figure this out than I am. So, I guess I won't be staying at Hampton Inns anymore for stays of more than a few hrs during long car trips.
Giving up on Hampton Inns isn't as big of a deal, as it would have been a few yrs ago. The Hampton Inn Breakfast Experience has become pretty tired. Lots of overprocessed food products. Some fruit, sometimes not over- or under-ripe. The hot oatmeal is a good option, but no whole milk. And all in the noisy atmosphere of local news blaring from multiple TV's and top 500 hits from the 1980s pounding away from multiple speakers embedded, I suppose, in the ceiling.
Given Hampton Inn's slow, steady rise in room rates, the price:value ratio isn't what it used to be.
