I would never recommend this hotel. We were very disappointed with how management handled our concerns with both the room and the billing issue. We reserved a room with two queen beds, but we were given a room with only one king bed. When we raised the issue, the receptionist told us they cant transfer us to a room with 2 queen beds as there were no rooms available.
When we escalated this to management, they were unresponsive and showed little concern for guests, which made the situation even more frustrating.

We checked in early and upon arrival it was evident we were “catfished” as the pictures online make the “hotel” (actually a motel) look way nicer than it actually is. The front desk staff was friendly though and helped up by keeping our bags behind their desk until check in. They gave us our room key and we went up to the fourth floor very last room and as we entered we were hit with an awful stench of mildew. Then walking further into the room I flipped on the bathroom light only to find the entire bathroom flooded with water pouring out from the light fixture above. So we went back down to the lobby and informed the front desk of the issue, they then put us in one of their newly renovated rooms which are pictured on their website and actually quite nice (my only complaint is the door leading to outside does not seal properly). Breakfast was decent, typical hotel breakfast. Large security deposit for a two star hotel so be prepared to spend an extra $125 upon check in. Overall, spend the extra money and stay on the boardwalk and FAR away from this hotel.

My stay at the Harrison Hotel included both positive aspects and significant concerns. The hotel’s location is excellent—conveniently situated near key attractions and transit, which made getting around very easy. We stayed for one night prior to departing on a cruise, so accessibility was especially important.
Upon initial entry, the room appeared clean and presentable. However, a closer inspection revealed serious issues. After pulling back the bedding, I discovered that there were four mattress covers layered on a single mattress. While inspecting them, I found that one of the inner covers had what appeared to be fresh urine stains. The odor was strong and unmistakable.
This was completely unacceptable and raised serious concerns regarding the hotel’s housekeeping standards and infection control practices. Cleanliness—especially of bedding—is a fundamental expectation for any hotel stay, and this experience fell well below acceptable standards.
While the location is a strong advantage, the condition of the room significantly impacted the overall experience. I hope the hotel takes immediate steps to improve its cleaning protocols and quality control.
Great hotel, would stay again. Super helpful and attentive staff. Nice pool with lots of sun. Rooms were very modern and spacious. Decent continental breakfast every morning. We felt very safe around downtown Hollywood day or night.
We had a late flight on our checkout day and they offer a luggage hold, change rooms and a free shuttle to the airport.
