  Only giving any stars because of the kind staff. The room was horrible. The door had to be slammed to close, room was incredibly cheaply made with paint splatters everywhere, rust, no outlets, and everything was damp. The windows are paper thin so it sounds like you’re sleeping next to a busy highway with no divider. They give tiny pillows on the bed and don’t have more when asked. Only come to this hotel if you need a quick stay, because I can’t imagine spending any more time here than absolutely necessary. Worse than a motel 6.

  Stayed Jan 27-26 for one night. Horrible experience! Rooms dirty and had bugs around microwave, bed head boards and on bed. It's unfortunate, as hotel staff very nice, understanding and empathetic - said they had "an ant problem" in the past. We asked for our money refunded for the one night as we would not sleep in the beds. Told to tell Best Western Customer Service about the issue to get full refund. Customer Service awful - arrogant and not willing to listen or refund us. Just pay lip service. DO NOT STAY HERE.

  Nothing within walking distance besides a Denny’s an McDonalds. You can take a longer walk to T.Y. park. Room felt humid and musty. Bathroom was rusty and had water damage. We had to pry our shower door open and the body wash was empty. Elevators were sketchy and you had to jump through hoops to get to floors 3 and 7. Pool was a crumbling concrete hole full of junk instead of water. 2 stars because of the lady working the busy front desk by herself and she held our luggage for us while we waited for our room.

  The good: check in was very fast and on extremely short notice. We called and they had us in without a reservation within an hour. Staff were very very helpful and friendly Shuttle guy drove like a lunatic in a good way. Quickest airport travel ever lol. No bugs or mold to speak of The mediocre: rooms were dated, any metal was rusted a little bit, kinda dirty but not really, walls dinged up. Not upset about any of this, just noting. The bad: they fail to disclose that the pool is not only permanently closed and has been for at LEAST 2 years, but it’s condemned and the sign says it may collapse at any time. They should have this listed somewhere obvious and/or tell anyone who calls.

  There was plenty of space in the room itself, but the layout was a bit odd to me. The sink was located in the bedroom instead of the bathroom. Weird. But more importantly, there were some issues that needed attention, both in the hotel itself and in our room (room 311). There are two ancient-looking elevators that serve the hotel. Only one of them went to the third floor due to a maintenance issue. The staff had posted signs saying that if the "wrong" elevator answered your call for the 3rd floor, you were supposed to send it away and call for the other elevator! See photo. The drywall in our room had a significant crack in it and needed repairing. But the most annoying aspect of the room was the shower door. The door was of a sliding on wheels design. The door refused to remain shut due to a balance issue. The only way to avoid flooding the bathroom floor during a shower was to hold it shut with your foot while showering, or stuffing a wash cloth beside the wheels. Finally, this hotel was supposed to offer free shuttle service to/from the airport. Our flight arrived around 9:30 pm, and all three phone calls to the front desk to request a shuttle went unanswered. We ended up having to get an Uber to pick us up and take us to the airport.
