  Will NEVER stay here again. The room had a terrible odor and we found it infested with fleas. There was flea dirt in the sheets that had clearly been accumulating for a while. There were fleas jumping on us. We found several in just a few minute span. The water from the taps smelled horrible like it was pulled directly from the swamp. It looks like someone took an old dump and put a fresh coat of paint on it but forgot to actually fix anything. No one offered us a refund but they did put us in a different room. It was late and we didn't make a scene but I will be calling on Monday. Update: I was extremely polite when calling the hotel but the manager Norma was not. She argued with me about the room being clean and not having any other complaints. I reminded her that the issue wasnt between her and I. Its business not personal and that I was being polite and requested the same. She told me I had to call priceline because the reservation was through them. Priceline told me they couldnt refund anything without the hotel approval. I asked for a refund for only 1 of the two nights. They denied and provided an $80 refund for the inconvenience but the hotel cost $419 for the two nights. Do yourself a favor and stay clear of this hotel. Here is a photo of one of the fleas we caught and tossed in the toilet. Its blurry because fleas are small but you get the point. They cant argue that this isnt their toilet because the scuff marks in the bowl match the ones in room 131.

  It was okay. Room smelled like chlorine bleach (too strong). Some of the furniture dinged up. AC could be quieter.

  My stay at HOM Hotel was ok! Im use to bigger rooms and more up dated but it wasn't bad just need more updated bathroom.

  Horrible. They canceled my room without notice. Front desk guy name Michael or Mike (white guy with glasses) he’s horrible, rude, disrespectful and needs to be fired. He made it a horrible experience for me and my parents. He was super rude upon check in to me and 5 of my other parents. We will never ever ever return back to this location and we will never ever recommend. Horrible experience because of him. He’s miserable and disrespectful

  We are now prefer Diamond customers i've been stay at all Best Westerns in Gainesville Florida So f far this is the best one by Far Also We stay at the Grand Best Western it's a nice hotel too but nothing like the HOM Hotel is this a little more comfortable there you feel the rooms are well kept up not saying the rooms are not kept up at the best Grand Western which they are too the breakfast is great at this hotel that h o m now the other Hotel the grand offers omelets but I still prefer the hom Hotel reason front desk service is excellent you couldn't ask for nothing better and at 5:30 at night they have cookies for the guest got to try them out they're great otherwise Hotel no problems rates are great easy parking and a lot of restaurants around out there so we definitely recommend this particular hotel and I hope this review will help you out thank you for reading it
