The manager lady was very passive aggressive and not that friendly, honestly. Had some trouble checking in here but did not have trouble in other places, doing the exact same thing. The suite room itself just looks so old and outdated. The TV is old, the interior looks old, as well as the kitchen appliances. Bathroom, tub, specifically was not that clean. I found way too much hair inside it (I have a video). Some of the dishes in the drawers were not that clean, as I had to rewash them. I cannot tell if the dresser and Tv is supposed to be in the middle of the walk way and diagonally off the wall but there’s that. The wifi connection here, if it even decides to connect after multiple attempts, sucks. I am better off using my data. On the plus side, the bed is comfortable even with some stray hairs and the AC and fan work well. I personally will not be coming back to this Gainesville location, but it will do for now. I just checked out today, October 28 and I went to the front office to give my key card to the asian lady manager, the one who I had problems with before, she didn’t even say good morning, didn’t say thank you, just absolutely rude and so unfriendly. If this is who y’all want representing the company as a manager, I will be telling many people to never come here. customer service is key to a business and hers absolutely sucks for no reason. All the other staff members were very, very friendly and welcoming.

Upon arrival Angie greeted us with enthusiasm. It was a pleasure to have a staff that cares about the customer. Along with that Kierra and Seth had professionalism and it was comforting to have staff at this high level of hospitality. Also the room was clean and it felt like my home . Also congratulations to the breakfast staff for keeping the food court filled and cleaned.

Our room was clean but the tv remote didn’t work and there was no cold water in the shower. The breakfast was disappointing, crowded and not well stocked. Also the walls and floors are paper thin, could hear everyone around us. The folks at the front desk were friendly.

This is the first Homewood Suites we found that does not have a StoveTop/Electric oven in the kitchen. Yes, you read it right. Full kitchen but NO Stovetop or any post and pans.Their website has conveniently omitted this important detail. We had a special requirement for a kitchen & that's why selected this hotel. When we asked teh front desk, the dude, though helpful pretty much dismissed my question and instead arrogantly mentioned that "We give ytou a full size Fridge"... like it compensates for a stovetop. As we were contemplating moving out, he finally mentioned that they loan a hot plate to their guests and that's what we ended up with. The worst part was that it came with two gigantic pans and that was all. No other pans or anything in the kitchen. Our reservaton was prepaid through a 3rd party otherwise would have checked out. Though the breakfast area is supposed to close at 9 on weekdays, they started to remove stuff around 8:45AM. Also, dont be suprised if you dont find anyone at the front desk for an extencded time especially after 9 PM. The room has paper thin walls. We could literally hear the conversation next door from our bedroom. Being a college town, we travel in that area pretty frequently but this property is off the list. Do not recommend it especially if you have a need for a full kitchen.
