- BDB DenommeDec 22, 20255.0Found on hotels.com. Price was amazing and it’s pet friendly(add’l fee). The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very modern. The halls are all ceramic flooring and very clean. Rooms are comfy and updated. Very quiet. There is a pool, but we did not use. Breakfast was hot and the area very clean. There were the usual continental choices. All very fresh. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. The hotel is near restaurants and shopping.

I called to modify my reservation, and found out that Best Western had bought the hotel and my reservation no longer existed a short two weeks before my stay. I was not contacted, and the lady on the phone at the hom hotel was very rude and put all the blame on Wyndham, the previous owners, for not carrying through with my reservation. They provided no help for the issues they have caused in addition to this.

- JRJeffrey RothmanSep 27, 20254.0I'll be in a platinum customer i've been saying that all Best Westerns so far the best one in Gainesville is the grand Best Western this one is okay it just got some small problems that needs to be adjusted for example the pool says it's been clean as far as I can tell it was not cleaned and the other thing in the handicap bedroom which stayed in we didn't notice it till last night the turtles eat one of the bolts on there was never screw down as I told the front desk about this problem here comes the service person takes care of service and he's overestimating me and telling me it was partially loose without even seeing it that's funny cuz it was partially loose why was it all the way down so I tightened it up myself but like I said price so good rooms are nice and we would definitely stay there again like I said it's just some small problems and the other thing was the breakfast bar serving old coffee from the night before but we hope this review helped you out
