The room itself was nice but the bedding covers and pillows were horrible. The covers were wrinkled, looked as though they had been rolled up. The pillows were not comfortable, the minute I laid my head on them, they went flat, I was disappointed in Hilton.

I stayed at this Hilton location while passing through town. I typically stay at Holiday Inn but decided to give Hilton a try for a change. I will say the front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated.
Unfortunately, the room itself was very disappointing. When we first walked in, the temperature was noticeably warm and uncomfortable. The bedding was poorly fitted — the sheets did not properly fit the mattress and continuously slipped off throughout the night, which made it difficult to sleep. The mattress itself was extremely stiff and overly springy, feeling outdated and worn.
Cleanliness was also a concern. The shower had visible black residue across the bottom, which made it feel unsanitary. The bathroom exhaust vent had a heavy buildup of dust and debris, clearly indicating it had not been cleaned in quite some time. These are basic housekeeping and maintenance details that should not be overlooked at a brand of this level.
Because of the condition and overall comfort of the room, I will not be staying at this Hilton again. I would recommend looking at holiday inn across the street for a cleaner and more comfortable stay

Staff were all great, Michael made check-in great, answered lots of questions with a smile, and Daniella was very helpful on check out. Cleaning staff were all great as well. They were short staffed one night and the restaurant was closed.
Great location with lots of stores and restaurants walkable.
The room was a little dated, as were the hallways, with weird divots under the carpet.
Nice pool, just wish the pool towels weren’t quite so small - they were the same towels as the little ones in the fitness Center… which was kind of small with no weights.

Very comfortable rooms and several restaurants nearby. My only issue is the guy working the front desk. Very hard to communicate with because he talks way to fast and mumbles his words to the point I couldn’t understand a thing he was saying. Of course that isn’t what my biggest issue was. I get it, it takes everyone working together to make the world go around. But when I would ask him to repeat what he said cause I couldn’t understand him, he got all rude and treated me and my wife like we were a burden on him. Unfortunately I will never visit this hotel again!!

Greetings!
Firstly, I am a quadriplegic and my wife and I have found Hampton Inn to be the most consistent handicap friendly hotel. Last week we had an appointment at Shands hospital in Gainesville Florida. The Hampton did not have a handicap room available so we booked Garden Inn. Being handicapped it takes us a lot of extra equipment to be able to take showers etc. Our son was with us this trip because my wife is weak from an autoimmune. We got everything to the room and unpacked and assembled the shower chair, bed rail etc when my son noticed a pile of dog poop on the carpet. I called the desk and he reported back there was no housekeeping available - he moved us to another room. Easier said than done for us. To pack up, move and unpack is a lot of effort. In that room unfortunately the bed was at least 6” higher than my chair. We use a transfer board and in the morning after my shower my wife was too weak to make that work. Fortunately my son was there and came to the rescue. He reported to us that his AC didn’t work in his room PLUS we saw another big stain on the carpet. All in all a very unpleasant experience. We won’t be going there again! Btw, I can send pics if you’d like. I contacted Hilton as a courtesy before posting this and no reply!
