The Hampton Inn & Suites is located in the heart of Gainesville's Downtown Historic District. We’re a five-minute walk from Alachua County Family and Civil Justice Center, the Judge Stephan P. Mickle, Sr. Criminal Courthouse from the Eighth Judicial Circuit of Florida, and the US District Court for the Northern District of Florida. We are also within walking distance to Gainesville’s finest shops, dining, theaters and night life and just minutes away from the University of Florida and Shands Hospital. The hotel features 124 well appointed, professionally decorated guest rooms and suites. Our daily complimentary On the House breakfast will offer a variety of hot and cold healthy items, as well as our Hampton On the Run breakfast bag in case you are in a rush.
We also feature wired and wireless high speed internet access throughout the hotel, 24 hour business center, 37' LCD TVs in regular guestrooms and 42' LCD TVs in the suites, (all with HD capability), Cloud Nine Beds, an on-site fitness center featuring a Peloton® Bike with toe cages, outdoor pool, free local calls and long distance access. Each room comes equipped with coffee maker, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, work desk and ample lighting. Our hotel will also offer 4 meeting rooms (1400 square feet) for small to mid size meetings. Catering services will be available as well as all audio/video request. Our guest service representatives are available 24 hours a day to assist with your hotel needs.

She was maintaining an absolutely busy holiday season travel morning with dozens of people coming into the breakfast area. Food was awesome and she was on top of everything with an amazing attitude! We will definitely be returning and recommend 10/10

Carlos, who was working the front desk, went above and beyond in many ways and was very friendly. He made our entire families stay better in one way or another, whether helping us with questions, requests, or making us feel welcomed.

- CFChristian FuegoDec 18, 20251.0There is no parking near this hotel. The few spots that are available for overnight are occupied until late in the night. Or all night. You have to park in a parking garage two blocks away and pay $30 a night. Usually Hampton is my favorite brand but this one seems to have some sketchy people stay here. And there was some noise in the room next to me all night and they couldn’t even investigate and figure it out and stop it. Stay away from this one.
