  Stayed there with my husband for the weekend. Absolutely charming and professional atmosphere. All around staffing was great! Answered any questions we had. Very knowledgeable. Ate at their Oasis restaurant Friday night. Our server, bartender was Karen and she was absolutely wonderful! We even ordered in our room and she knew before we told her what we wanted. Shout out to last night's (Saturday) bartender Kevin. Very responsive, sociable and presentable to what we wanted. I would definitely stay here again!!!

  11-7-2025 My daughter requested 2 rooms adjoining at booking (she has elite status)and received two rooms very far apart. Her room had a locked adjoining room but they gave that room to someone else! I took care of my grandbaby while they were at a wedding and needed to be near her room. This is the last time anyone in my family or anyone we know will use this very disappointing hotel chain.

  I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with the Crowne Plaza Fort Myers was incredibly disappointing. I attempted to move my reservation by one day and was immediately hit with a $150 change fee. Annoying, but fine, policies are policies. However, I emailed ahead to notify them of a late arrival and received no response at all. When I called to follow up, both the manager and the customer service representative were short, dismissive, and frankly, snarky. It felt like customer service just didn’t matter to them. I ended up paying the $150 simply to avoid further dealing with the staff, but I canceled the stay and rebooked elsewhere. As someone from Fort Myers, I know how many options there are here, and this experience is exactly why I’ve never chosen this hotel before. I won’t be giving it (or any Crowne Plaza) another chance. They seem to think they’re operating at Ritz-Carlton standards, but the service couldn’t be further from it. $150 is all they’ll ever get from me. Response: Thank you for your response. I contacted Expedia and their team reached out to the hotel and confirmed that Crowne Plaza would not waive the 150 dollar fee. I called the Crowne Plaza customer service team to confirm and actually asked if I would be having this issue if I booked directly through the hotel. I was told yes. Expedia had to follow up multiple times to receive a response from Crowne Plaza team. I requested the change to move check in by one day, only one hour after booking. Additionally, I called to confirm the 3 am arrival was noted; however it is disappointing that I needed to call to confirm this, a week after sending a very kind and explanatory email. The policy was never the issue, simply the service provided.

  TL;DR - Great staff, excellent location, unbeatable value for the quality; first time staying, will be a longtime return guest in the future. One of the best stays I've had at an IHG property. Shoutouts to Derrick, Chase, Annie, Stef, Kevin, Kian, Bill, and all the staff that made our stay truly memorable. The Details: IHG's recent $7M investment upgrading this location really shows - came down for a Halloween weekend with the family and had an incredible time. Attentive and proactive staff, great rooms, and unbeatable rate-to-quality ratios for the area. Proximity to the airport is huge, especially considering the complimentary 24/7 shuttle that will not only take you to and from the airport, but also neighboring amenities like the Gulf Coast shopping center. Can't say enough about the team CPFM's Brian Holly has assembled, they truly made what would have been a pleasant experience one that was quite memorable.
