A friend of mine stayed at this hotel for two nights, which was paid for by her employer, and would explain why she would recommend this hotel to anyone. To celebrate my birthday, I wanted an ocean view room, with easy access to the beach for myself and my husband, so I visited their website. After some browsing, I picked an ocean view room, with a King sized bed, and booked a Flight and Hotel Package for four nights through Priceline. To not make this review long and winding, we got to the hotel an hour after check-in started, and our nightmare began. Judging from the way she spoke to the couple in front of us, and who walked away smiling, I thought the representative behind the counter was friendly, until it was our turn. She became distant, but I continued to talk to her about our reservation, type of room, bed, etc, and I even showed her a screen shot of a picture of the room, and the confirmation number. I do believe Race had something to do with it, when she assigned us a room with a Queen sized bed, which we had to squeeze pass to get to the window facing the road, and the parking lot across the street. Even though I showed her the reservation and confirmation number of an Ocean View room with a King size bed, she said I got what I paid for, and I should take it up with Priceline. I called Priceline who had me on hold for over two hours, as I watched her put them on hold, while she did nothing. After fatigue and tiredness, we settled for a room away from the noise on the street, but not what I paid for, Priceline was no help(they may still be on hold). To sum it up, customer service was not good, food was not good, with very limited choices, and limited fun activities to do. Not a good birthday experience, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone, but being away with my husband and our love is what I choose to remember. They’re not as advertised 👎🏽

What looks like a dream hotel from their website, I would steer clear. We prepaid for our stay, only 2 nights. Arrived at 11am. Check in is 4pm. They try and con u into paying 75USD to check in early. $50USD to check in 2 hours closer. And then $20USD within 1 hour of check in time. Aside from that our room was filthy. Candy smeared all over our sheets we didn’t even notice til the next day. They cleaned our room, moving on. The beach was nice. The pool is small and cold. The bar inside was nice. Check in lady was rude. Second girl we dealt with was nice. Biggest downfall here is …. They charged a $250 hold on our card for security deposit. Very standard I get that …. We racked up around $270 in room fees. So they kept our deposit and charged us an extra $20, which again is fine. We then leave and went to another hotel we already had planned. They charged our card days after we left for $384. No reasoning. We asked for records. They provided 48 hours later. Check in desk can’t help. Have to transfer us to accounting department that is never there. Voicemails go unanswered. I’m now disputing with our credit card company. Steer clear of these frauds. They will randomly charge your card for fees and lot explain why. By the way I never ever ever leave bad reviews. But this one is granted. STEER CLEAR OF BBBBBBB OCEAN

Pictures are deceiving. This hotel needs a total renovation. Carpets are dirty, elevators are sketchy. The garage elevator was not working, had to use the stairs. Frightening. The stairwell reeked of urine and was littered with trash with evidence of squatters. In our room there was a flood which my husband found when going to the bathroom - slipping and straining his back. There were moldy walls inside the closet (where the leak originated). Plaster dust was everywhere. It was obvious from the moldy walls and decayed plaster this had been occurring frequently. We reported to the front desk. No one came to correct or offer us a different room. Food was very expensive, a cocktail at $16. The breakfast buffet was $32 pp and was not worth it. The front desk-staff, our waitress in the buffet and our waitress at the pool bar were pleasant an efficient. Rating. 2-stars because it was an easy drive from the airport and to the cruiseport. Starbucks was a plus. We paid close to $250 for one night in this room. Never again!

This is our third, and final, night at this establishment. It is also our third night in this room where we have suffered from screaming children and young adults carrying on well into the evening and as late as 1 am at the pool area outside of our second floor room. We called the front desk to complain on night two and were replied to with "Oh, they're still being loud"? we'll send someone up". It quieted down briefly, then quickly resumed. I understand now why, upon checking in, we were advised that our room was not ready, and presented with an "opportunity" to upgrade for a higher rate to a better room. We declined, and instantly received a text that our room was ready now. One would presume that booking a room for a restful vacation stay at a resort would involve being able to actually relax and sleep in one's accommodation for the night. This has not been the case here, and I do NOT recommend booking a stay at this establishment until the situation is remedied. We would request at least a partial refund for these greviences, but fear that they fall upon a deaf ear. Update: Twenty minutes after posting this review and being assured by guest services that the situation would be remedied, the noise outside has continued. Book at your own risk. t your own

I booked this hotel through the Delta Airlines app, expecting a level of quality and organization that aligns with a trusted brand. Unfortunately, the experience was anything but that. From the moment we arrived, the hotel was in complete chaos. The lobby was overcrowded with large groups, minimal seating, and a clear lack of staff to manage the volume of spring breakers and tour groups. It immediately felt disorganized and overwhelming. We attempted to have breakfast at the on-site restaurant but were turned away because they were closing soon, and we were redirected to the bar restaurant—which, as it turns out, never even opened that day. That set the tone early. At check-in, despite being prepaid guests, our room wasn’t ready. We waited patiently while watching at least 10 other guests check in early and receive their rooms without issue, which was frustrating and confusing. When we finally got to the room, it was a major letdown—dated, worn, and clearly in need of maintenance (paint, caulking, and general updates). The furniture was very basic, and the overall condition felt neglected. The pool area was cluttered, and the outdoor restaurant staff were not helpful. The hotel overall was extremely loud and lacked any sense of order. Children were running unsupervised throughout the property—playing baseball in the hallways, hitting balls into the walls all day without any intervention from hotel staff or security. Late into the night, around 1:30 a.m., a young child was driving a remote control car into the hallway walls while yelling and making excessive noise. It got to the point where I had to open my door and ask where their parents were. There appeared to be zero oversight from management to maintain a calm and respectful environment for paying guests. To make matters worse, although checkout was clearly stated as 11 a.m., housekeeping began knocking and pressuring us to leave before 10 a.m. If only that level of urgency had been applied during check-in. This hotel falls far short of any reasonable expectation for comfort, let alone luxury. Poor management, lack of organization, and an overall disappointing experience. This is a HARD pass for anyone seeking a relaxing or well-run stay.
