Don’t do it. Multiple guests had toilet problems, including us. Upon check in we found the toilet nearly overflowing (dirty.) We had a New Year’s Eve event to go to right after check in, so they asked permission to come in and plunge our toilet while we were out. I said sure. I came back to a clogged toilet. It hadn’t been plunged and they wouldn’t plunge it. They offered me a plunger after multiple guests used it to plunge their own toilet. When I went to pull it out of the bag it was smeared all over with feces. They just shrugged and said oh well. I didn’t pay to deal with other guests feces. They had no room to offer me with a working toilet and no plunger that wasn’t covered in poop, “they’re all being used.” We had to stay in a hotel room all night with no working toilet. There were no nearby rooms as it was New Year’s Eve. Is it even acceptable to the board of health to rent rooms without toilets that function? Jackson, the front desk attendant told me to ask Chase (who I booked through) for the refund and they’d honor it. Not the case. Best Western refuses to credit any of the $250 I paid. Even after ruining New Year’s Eve. *In response to management, I was in the phone with chase vacations as they called your business unsuccessfully to resolve. You’re not genuine.

Bad reviews are just untrue and so glad we took the chance!!! I own Airbnbs either I got the best room they have or the hotel is just great… ITS FANTASTIC FOR THE PRICE! Nelly checked us in, she was very sweet and courteous, explained everything. She even placed us in the perfect spot as we had a very expensive enduro bike in the truck bed. The room had a mild smell of bleach and thank the heavens means it’s more sterilized. It was very clean I always check mattresses and under beds. Clean clean and clean. The tubs people keep saying have a rough texture is just a bad re-glazing job. There is no mold no nothing and I stayed on the first floor. Oooo and they have free coffee, hot cocoa and tea available 24 hours as well as fruit water and cookies at checkin. Breakfast is yummy with waffles and toppings plus, hot sides and oatmeal I would highly recommend and most definitely would stay here again. Oh and checkout is noon wow!!!

Now comparing to the rooms on the review, I probably got the least clean and oldest room of the property. In short, my room for one night was HORRIBLE! I stayed on the first floor, back of the building, damp, dirty (not cleaned or not used for sometime?), moldy smell (which made us sick afterwards after inhaling the air), dirty air conditioner, sticky (wiped the places with my Clorox wet tissue), barely slept because the beds were so uncomfortable-mattresses were sunk in the middle, like literally you sink in. But above all, the smell!!!!!! Moldy smell!!! I didn’t check the review, comparing the Travelodge across the highway, it looked safer. I felt insecure when I parked my bmw in front of Travelodge property so decided to come to this place. I didn’t read the review closely since i just needed one night sleep. Checked in after 10pm, drove up from Key West at night. Front desk was very courteous and friendly, beyond my expectation. However, the rooms on the first floor back of the building, seriously. Not an inch close to the pictures on the posted reviews.

Disgusting, old rooms. Rooms are clearly very old, especially the bathrooms. Our toilet broke and overflowed, but thankfully we got moved to a new room. In our new room, there was hair all over the bathroom. Wouldn’t stay again.
