  Excellent experience at the InterContinental Hotel at Doral. The staff is incredibly friendly, professional, and welcoming. The restaurant offers great quality and is perfect for business meetings or lunches. Their happy hour is outstanding—especially Wednesdays with ceviche, guacamole, and chips. Special thanks to Abelardo, German, Boston, Maria, Carolina, JP, Mazzie, and especially Cynthia, whose beautiful smile and professionalism always stand out. Highly recommended!

  Diamond ambassador here. I chose this hotel because I just wanted to get away, be low-key, unwind, get a tan, workout, and just reset. I spent a week here. I ate multiple times in their restaurant, ranging from breakfast to dinner, and was always pleased. The servers were eager to serve, the housekeepers did a great job and were grateful for their tips, and anytime I had an issue, when I reached out, it was immediately rectified. My status was truly valued here, and of note were Corina in her handling a situation I had excellently, and Janiselle, who was an angel. Conrad was also very accommodating. The property staff is truly top-notch. The pool was exactly what I wanted. Not cheap or tacky, accessible 24/7, heated, and the sun was not blocked by any nearby buildings. The weight room was excellent, much better than the weight rooms of most hotels. I just have one recommendation about the lounge, and that is to have a little more than lays chips and granola bars at the time of afternoon tea. Maybe I’m too used to the lounge experiences I had in Japan. The rooms are getting renovated in this property and I’m sure I’ll come back to stay in a first floor room sometime in the future. Until then, I was impressed with this property and would most certainly recommend it for a plethora of reasons: amenities, staff, location, and overall quality.

  Every time we visit Miami, we always stay at the Intercontinental Doral — our family’s favorite! We absolutely love that most of the staff are familiar faces who always go above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Conrad, Angela, Juan Pablo, Cinthia — these are some of the amazing people who truly make our stay unforgettable. From the delicious breakfast and wonderful happy hour with Señor Fernando to the comfortable rooms, and the great pool area; we enjoy it all!

  This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. For the price, the lack of service is unacceptable. The room was dusty from ongoing renovations, the staff appeared poorly trained, and the amenities were extremely basic. Room service was unavailable because they were “too busy,” which says a lot. Nearly $1,000 for two nights bought nothing but excuses, unhelpful attitudes, and rude staff who would leave me on hold hoping I’d hang up rather than assist. Completely not worth the cost.

  I am extremely disappointed with my stay at the InterContinental Doral Miami due to repeated unprofessional and discriminatory behavior. Throughout my stay, I experienced hostility from several housekeepers whenever I asked for basic items such as towels or washcloths. On two separate occasions, my requests were outright ignored. I am an African American woman who understands Spanish, and I overheard staff speaking about me and my significant other inappropriately. Specifically, I heard comments about our personal belongings being “all over the room” after they entered it. Discussing guests in this manner is completely unacceptable and a serious breach of professionalism and privacy. Additionally, during check-in, my significant other was subjected to unnecessary and uncomfortable questioning about our employment and where we live, which made us feel as though we were being judged or did not belong at the hotel. This interaction almost caused us to cancel our stay altogether. The only positive experience during this visit was with the nighttime front desk agents, who were polite, welcoming, and professional. The hotel it self was nice the showers are outdated for this type of hotel the rooms are spacious that is a plus and the pool is 24 hours Unfortunately, the overall experience left us feeling disrespected and unwelcome. I expect much higher standards from a hotel of this caliber, and I sincerely hope management addresses these issues so future guests do not have a similar experience.
