  First time here. Staff was not really friendly, and did not give good direction to our room, and parking. If you are looking for a large beach area to play in, this is not the resort, go to Panama City Beach Resort (current under renovation - to be completed in a couple months)

  We had our wedding here and it was literally the BEST experience/day ever!!!!! Their entire wedding crew is seriously the best ever and made the day/planning experience so easy! Our guests literally haven’t stopped talking about how amazing our wedding was and it truly was AMAZING!!!!!!!!! Not to mention the rooms and view are insane!

  Went to stay here, when I was talked into a timeshare meeting I overheard inappropriate conversations about a female sales manager named Jennifer getting so drunk at a work event she tried sleeping with multiple employees. This was heard from the mouth of another manager there…. Do not waste time!

  Do not book the sunset units unless you don't mind climbing spiral stairs, both bedrooms and baths are on the second floor, one full bathroom on the main floor. When I booked the unit it said loft so I thought it would be regular stairs, I saw no pictures or information on spiral stairs, my husband and I along with our friends are older and it not all able to climb spiral stairs and also trying to get your suitcases up to rooms, if it was regular stairs we could manage it with no problem. I went down to the front desk and explained what the problem was and the next day we got a 3 br and 2 bath with no stairs unfortunately my husband had to sleep on the couch that night and I slept upstairs but with difficulty to get up and down, fortunately our friends were flying in the next day so our problem was resolved by the time they were here. Just a heads up on the sunset units!

  Our stay at the Emerald Grande in Destin was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, everything felt first-class. The resort is beautiful — clean, well-maintained, and perfectly located with some of the best views in Destin overlooking the harbor and the Gulf. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. Waking up to that balcony view each morning was unbeatable. The staff was outstanding — friendly, helpful, and always willing to go above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. The pool area was relaxing with plenty of seating, and the private beach access was a huge plus. Having the HarborWalk Village right downstairs was so convenient — tons of great restaurants, shops, and live entertainment all within walking distance. We also loved how family-friendly the atmosphere was while still being great for couples or groups of friends. Whether we were grabbing a drink at one of the bars, watching the boats come in, or catching the fireworks at night, there was always something to enjoy. Overall, the Emerald Grande is the perfect mix of comfort, luxury, and location. We can’t recommend it enough and will definitely be coming back on our next trip to Destin!
