- BEBrenda EmersonOct 30, 20251.0Lots of renovations going on, room was big and spacious, but sink in one bathroom would not drain, toilet in other bathroom wouldn't flush, great view though. Terrible experience sitting at the pool one day, an employee starts beating an iguana with a broom to kill it, everyone in the pool is in shock at how he was trying to kill it and was laughing the entire time, like he was putting on a show, disgusting. then a guest starts yelling at him to stop and they start going at it and he actually called her the B word... the employee actually called a guest that, wow. The same employee, Rahiem? says the iguana 'almost' bit a child's finger (child was still playing at the pool, so less dramatic than Rahiem was making it out to be) and he's allowed to kill it. While he may or may not be allowed to kill it, it should have been done in a humane manner, not the way he was doing it and in front of all the other guests and children, just disgusting employee.

Breakfast daily in the main dining room. they also serve dinner, but we went out every night. (I lived in Deerfield 30 some years ago) the area, is a whole new place. huge pool, and controlled parking spot, below the hotel. exterior is being repainted. I bet it will look very nice when it is finished.
- APArthur PowellOct 19, 20254.0The last few times we have stayed at this hotel, we have noticed a consistent error in billing. We book a package that includes the parking fee in our nightly rate. When we check out I notice that parking is added on top of our nightly rate. This has happened three times. Once we were charged for parking, and we didn’t even have a car. The process in place for billing is flawed and in serious need of review. This problem seems to be unique to this hotel. We travel frequently and I have never encountered this problem at any other hotel.
