This location is beautiful! The beach is just across the parking, which makes it very easy to access. You are provided with 2 chairs per room. The pool is good too, but it is very occupied and almost impossible to get a chair.
The staff are in general very helpful. Valeria is incredible. She is always smiling and helping you. The others are okay… some are cold and rude but overall it’s okay.
The rooms are clean and perfect for family, if you take the suites.
The restaurant is slow and pricey, but the breakfast is amazing, especially the made to order omelettes!!! The man working there is very nice and remembers your order :)
Overall, it’s a good family/kid friendly hotel.

I would go back here in a second. The location is great, the place was clean, the pool was nice, and the breakfast was fantastic (omelette bar!!). This place is so good that some people stay here for weeks at a time. We had a very nice room on the 4th floor. The room was clean, but there were minor things: we had little hot water, the door handles weren't screwed on well, and the interior doors didn't shut. Also, the tv service is out of date. The place is about a half mile from a pickleball court and two miles from 4 courts. The waterfront is nice - plenty of seats and a nice walk to the pier and restaurants. The bar/restaurant is a 4/5. It is nice, but not great. If you are here for a 4 night stay, you probably don't need a car - most things are in a mile long walk.

The location is great, however, we had several issues while staying at this hotel during a holiday weekend. When we arrived, the livingroom bathroom toilet was not clean. Unfortunately, the 2nd day, there were plumbing issues in the bedroom bathroom. It was obvious housekeeping did bot clean the bathroom and it took 3 requests to get someone to fix the toilet. We checked an early and we're charged and upcharge even with our diamond status, but given the weekend, understood. We also normally receive free water during our stays but the place ran out and did not inform us until we asked or provide an alternative Unfortunately, when we were getting ready to leave the resort, we were given multiple fees for a 1-2 hour extended check out after we had been told it was complimentary. Luckily we had texts. Beach chairs and towels are provided, however there is an additional fee for an umbrella. We visited the beach every morning , especially because every pool chair , was claimed by eight am. Breakfast was plentiful and the omelet chef amazing, remembering our order every day!, Unfortunately for lunch the Wednesday before the holiday weekend , we did have to wait over an hour to get served sandwiches. I think this is a great place for families that enjoy the space and close proximity to the beach. And it is unfortunate. We faced these hiccups and miscommunication.
Extremely disappointing stay. I’ve been coming to this hotel since I was a child, which makes it even more upsetting to say how far it has gone downhill — despite the recent “renovations.”
I had to switch rooms three times due to mold in the bathrooms, which is completely unacceptable. In one room, the shower handle literally fell off the wall during use. Across rooms, the condition was consistently poor: rusty hardware, thick dust inside the air vents, and noticeable stains on the curtains. The fire alarm went off unnecessarily 2 times during our stay and has happened multiple times throughout previous stays.
The most concerning issue was finding exposed plumbing under the sink in one bathroom, which felt unsafe, especially while traveling with a small child. Cleanliness and maintenance clearly are not being prioritized.
The restaurant experience didn’t improve things. The atmosphere was mediocre at best, and the lettuce on my burger had visible dirt on it — something that should never happen.
I also saw other guests switching rooms and overheard several people mentioning they had returned hoping the renovations would make a difference. Unfortunately, many seemed unimpressed — and I agree.
I genuinely wanted to enjoy this stay based on my past experiences here, but the repeated room changes, maintenance issues, and cleanliness concerns made it frustrating and stressful.
Visited as a friend trip for what turned out to be the coldest weekend in South Florida in a decade. This is primarily a beach resort, but we had a great time even despite the weather.
This hotel isn’t the peak of luxury, but it’s an excellent value, and all of the staff we interacted with were helpful and welcoming. The pool is large, well kept, and thankfully heated! There is also a hot tub. The ocean is steps from the hotel.
There is an onsite restaurant, which is only average for lunch and dinner. A bit on the pricey side, and understaffed. Hotel guests get 15% off their check, but you must ask. There is also mandatory gratuity on all checks. Breakfast, however, is free for all guests and a definite highlight—made-to-order omelets, a large buffet, waffle station, etc. Embassy Suites always have the best free hotel breakfasts, and this did not disappoint. Finally, from 5-6:30pm each evening, the restaurant has an evening reception with free drinks and unlimited snacks (think chips and salsa, fresh veggies and dips, and crackers like goldfish and Chex mix).
The hotel gym is well-equipped, with a peloton, cable machine, multiple flat benches, free weights, kettlebells, and various cardio machines.
We ventured out more than we would if the weather weren’t 40°, and were pleasantly surprised to learn that the City of Deerfield Beach has a free rideshare program for tourists to take between hotels and the shopping/restaurant district. You can download the Freebee app and get around with no car needed!
We look forward to coming back again next year (when it’s hopefully warmer!)
