Multiple issues with the TV and remote not working. Had to leave the TV on just to make sure I could watch TV. The door jam looked like someone took a crowbar to it which I notified the team on the first day and was never attended to. Drinks and food were extremely overpriced. Elaine from Corporate Sales was the positive experience from this visit. Unfortunately I had to tell others from our team to avoid this hotel due to the numerous issues we had.

We were checked in by Ja'kwan J. He was already a gem, And then I really got to see his hospitality skills at work. I came down to the lobby do some business while my family took a nap. That's when I saw his true personality. He was explaining to someone That their room was available. But they wanted an upgrade or a change. Therefore, For that upgrade or change they had to wait. But the room that they booked was currently available. They didn't Like that answer. The customer yelled and yelled just to get something for free. The young man that was dealing with them was amazing and never raised his voice. They could not understand what he was telling them. And it was very simple. Even though he was getting yelled at, he kept his composure. He stayed respectful, even though I wouldn't have. I almost called the cops for him. I should have. Keep in mind this was not the only situation that he dealt with, where the customer was wrong and/or trying to get something for free. God Bless this beautiful human and good luck to him as he finishes school. Thank you J.J. , you literally made my evening, and you deserve all the best as well as a raise. And I hope you get 100 on that test, baby!!

I had a terrible experience trying to check in at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Boca Raton on Friday around 6:30 PM.
My daughter had a fever of 102.3 before we even made the 1.5-hour drive from Miami for an event. I was exhausted and anxious, but relieved to finally arrive so I could get her settled and properly cared for. Instead, I was met with shocking rudeness at the front desk.
When I approached with a smile, the man at the desk looked at me and literally said, “What do you want?” I couldn’t believe it. There was no greeting, no courtesy, no acknowledgment that we were guests. He said he was helping someone else but never once told me where to stand or when he would assist me.
To make matters worse, I am currently on a scooter with an air cast due to a broken foot. I was standing there trying to balance and figure out what was going on. My husband had to catch up and take my place in line so I could sit down. The line kept growing, and we waited about 30 minutes.
Then, with zero empathy or effort to offer solutions, the front desk agent announced the system was down. He said he didn’t know when it would be back up, didn’t know anything, and couldn’t check anyone in. That was it. No apology. No attempt to accommodate families. No reassurance. Nothing.
With a sick child who needed somewhere safe to rest, and me unable to even walk properly, I had to panic-book another hotel on the spot. We spent more money than planned, wasted time and energy, and left feeling completely disregarded.
I understand that technical issues happen. What is unacceptable is the lack of professionalism, empathy, and basic customer service. This experience left a terrible impression, and I would not recommend this hotel based on how we were treated.

Definitely not up to the Hilton/Doubletree standard.
The good…
– The warm cookie at check-in was tasty.
– The beds are decent.
– The pillows are good.
– The bartender in the restaurant was friendly and professional.
– Decent gym for a hotel.
The bad…
– I was told incorrectly on check-in that I had multiple reservations. They told me I had one through Hilton directly and through Priceline. That was false, I only booked through Priceline. They told me both reservations were nonrefundable. So I wasted an hour on the phone with Priceline at midnight and then didn't sleep well since I was concerned I would be double charged onto nonrefundable reservations in the amount of $2000. Doesn't make for a good night's sleep. Priceline told me I only had one reservation with them which is what I thought. Then I had to have a meeting with the manager to make sure I was not being double charged. Two wasted hours of my time.
– The hotel is filthy. Everything is 30 years old and in disrepair. I've never stayed somewhere where virtually everything is broken. See photos.
– Fridge smelled like bacteria. Biohazard… Photo.
– Air conditioning quit working one day which in Florida is a big deal. When asked twin maintenance would be by to repair, I was told, "I have no idea."
– Carpet is matted and stained with gum embedded.
– Reception is incompetent and couldn't be bothered. Often they did not pick up the phone when you called.
– The tile in the bathroom is moldy.
- The shower curtain is brown and dirty.
– Towels for the pool were often out. The reason stated was, "we are at full capacity". No "sorry" or anything.
– We were not informed there would be no housekeeping every day. Then when I complained that no one changed the room or replaced the towels, and told them I was not happy since we had been gone six hours, they blamed me for not requesting service. That's fine had it been explained on check-in but it wasn't. Just another ball dropped.
– The filtered water machine in the gym does not function.
– The soap dispenser in the lobby bathroom is ripped out. And in the sink does not work.
The photos speak for themselves as to the condition and cleanliness of the hotel. Unfortunately I cannot overate the incredibly terrible service we received. The worst I've ever had.
I’ll start with the cons:: just left from a 3 night stay.
Dismissive front desk staff and not friendly upon checkin.
Had to ask for extra pillows 3 times before we finally were handed pillows.
Overall hotel needs to be fixed up. Looks worn
The bathrooms at the pool area are really dark and dingy
Tight bathrooms in King room
Housekeeping wasn’t great. Didn’t refill coffee items or towels
Had no tv. The service was down and told we could change rooms. Then told not happening. After the second day my husband rebooted the tv.
The next morning someone tried to enter the room. It was double locked. .
Found out we were given a new room but that was not communicated to us.
15.00 a night for parking but why?
Pros
Pool is nice
Comfortable bed and bedding.
Restaurant has a decent breakfast and pleasant servers.
Gigi at the front desk is lovely.
Overall I would not recommend nor would I return. As a Diamond member I expect a higher level of service.
