I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness from a Hilton property. I travel frequently for work, and this is the first time I’ve had such an experience — especially disappointing for a Hilton.
Upon arrival, there were beard hairs and a strand of hair left in the bathroom sink. The carpet was visibly stained, and worst of all, there was a strong, unpleasant musty odor throughout the room. Overall, it gave a very poor impression of cleanliness.
Unfortunately, this stay was extremely disappointing. I informed the front desk about these issues, but absolutely nothing was done to address them.
This is the first time I’ve ever felt compelled to write a hotel review, but the lack of cleanliness was too obvious to ignore. I would not stay here again, and I would not recommend this hôtel!
The food and service at the restaurant was good.

Pros:
-nice location
-hotel lobby and conference center is beautiful and well maintained
-staff was friendly and helpful
-beds were fine, although dated and stained, in second room and decently comfortable
Cons
-Had to change rooms once due to bugs.
-Stains on carpet and sheets in both rooms.
-AC didn’t work or was highly ineffective in second room.
-Shower did not get hot.
-We set the mini fridge to the coldest setting and it barely kept drinks cold.
-The chairs in both rooms looked like they hadn’t been replaced since the place was built.
-$15 per night parking fee. Front desk said they couldn’t waive.
-no included free breakfast option
I’d recommend looking elsewhere if you’re looking to stay in this area.

Beautiful hotel, but our check-in was significantly delayed due to housekeeping issues. We were informed there were multiple rooms affected by guests smoking, and during our second attempt to check in after 4 PM, there was even a guest actively being removed for smoking. We had to return THREE TIMES before we were finally able to check in, resulting in roughly a four-hour delay.
Guest services at the time Corey was a pleasure. He was kind, professional, and proactive, even offering a breakfast voucher to make up for the inconvenience, which was greatly appreciated.
I would’ve rated this stay 5/5 until The following morning, I requested a late checkout due to the delayed check-in. Unfortunately, the head of housekeeping was very defensive and stated there had been no delay the previous day, offering only a 12 PM checkout (an hour extension), which did not feel adequate given the circumstances and also informed me I would be charged if I stay any longer.
Overall, the hotel itself is beautiful, and Corey, as well as our breakfast server, provided excellent service. However, the checkout experience and lack of accountability from the housekeeping manager were disheartening and detracted from what could have been a much better stay.

I've had great experiences staying with DoubleTree in the past, but this location underwhelmed. First the rooms were ready at 4pm, then the room wasn't stocked, then the outdoor hot tub was running and hot, but closed. Then they want $6 for a paper cup coffee. I'll be staying elsewhere in Deerfield Beach from now on

I arrived with my kids and had to wait more than an hour for our room due to a linen issue at the hotel. My family was flexible and patient while waiting. To compensate for the inconvenience, I politely asked for a one-hour late checkout, but the front desk agent (Brianna) immediately said no.
It’s disappointing that guests are expected to be flexible and understanding, yet the hotel is unwilling to offer any flexibility in return. That does not feel like fair treatment.
They also told me that my reservation did not include breakfast. I double-checked my reservation and showed it to them, and only then did they realize their mistake and provide the breakfast vouchers.
The restaurant was poorly managed—most tables were dirty, and there were only one or two staff members serving.
Overall, this was not a pleasant experience. I am very disappointed and will not be returning
