We stayed unexpectedly for about a week. The breakfasts were a joy for us during a stressful time. Room service and takeout was good with limited menu. Really satisfying. And with a view of the ocean. The little 27/7 convenience store with snacks and personals and especially for me, diet coke and water bottles was very important for making our stay more comfortable. The staff were generally kind. Parking on-site. The room was comfortable. We had an ocean view larger room (with a couch) and a balcony. Nice view, but over the parking lot. When we extended our stay, we had to move. It was a slightly smaller ocean view (chair not couch) but the view over the pool to the ocean was great. I choose this place due to certain circumstances and likely it would not have been a vacation first choice. But under stressful circumstances this Holiday Inn provided us everything we needed to be comfortable. It was very cold in Daytona Beach when we were there. The atmosphere was very sedate which was fine. But it looks like it has good facilities for a good time, i.e., inside and outside bar area.
