    Dear Hilton Garden Inn Daytona Beach Management, I recently made a reservation using my Hilton Amex card. When I arrived to check in, I discovered that all of my cards had been compromised and had to be frozen for security reasons. Despite having valid ID and enough cash to cover the stay and any incidentals, I was refused check-in because I didn’t have an active card available for the hold. While I understand that policies and procedures must be followed, I was deeply disappointed by the complete lack of understanding and compassion shown by your staff. This was an unfortunate and stressful situation beyond my control, and rather than being met with empathy or effort to find a reasonable solution, I was simply turned away. As a loyal Hilton guest, I expected more professionalism and flexibility in handling an emergency circumstance like this. I hope this feedback encourages your team to review how they handle similar situations in the future — with a greater sense of customer care and basic human understanding. Respectfully, Delvis

    What a disappointment! We booked this room for ease of location to Embry Riddle. As soon as we walked to our room we immediately heard loud voices having a party. We went back downstairs and asked for another room. Desk clerk was very unconcerned about noise-this must be normal here. Yes, it is right by the speedway. However, not a race weekend and not spring break. We expected a lot better. Second room and we went in. The room was fine, but all the walls are paper thin. How they pass building codes is beyond me. Sounded like pole dancing going on in the next room. Needless to say we left after a couple of hours and they wouldn’t give a refund. Never again! I highly recommend travelers who want to rest choose a different hotel. If this was a mild night, I would hate to be here on a racing weekend! For the life of me I don’t see how this place can average 4.3 stars. We are diamond and they should have refunded our stay.

    I'm mostly satisfied with my stay. Only qualm is that one of the three bath towels had someone's hair embedded in it.

    The service was excellent. The rooms clean and well kept. AC crisp. Towels super clean. They have a working hot tub. The chef for breakfast this morning made the best omlette ive ever tasted. I have a high standards for food and she absolutely nailed it.

    We booked this room because the idea of being next to the Daytona 500 was a really cool idea. We checked into the room and left to tour the city. We we arrived back to the room, we noticed ants near the microwave area. I sprayed disinfectant on the ants and it seemed to work. We settled down for bed and noticed ants going up the wall and on the headboard. I immediately took video and called the front desk. The very uninterested attendant asked is someone could come and look. Of course we agreed. The man came and sprayed the room but the ants continued to crawl making it a sleepless night. And no, we were not offered another room. The following day we checked out the hotel and I spoke with the morning front desk attendant. I attempted to show her the video of the ants and she stopped me and stated "I believe you." She apologized and said that the night person did not say anything about the ants or having to spray the room. She said that she would give us 3000 points to compensate for the inconvenience. We would need to call the corporate office to apply the points to the room for the night. We stayed there September 6-7. As of the 14th, we have yet to receive the points promised.
