  The pros to this place - Front office is very nice Hotel outside the rooms are nice Rooms are spacious Location is PRIME Beautiful views right on the beach The cons of this place - Place has a cockroach problem 8 cockroaches in 3 nights Walls are super thin so you hear everything Stains on comforter sheets and pillows Loud air They have half pillows which very uncomfortable why not have full pillows They get the cockroach problem fixed id get a 4 star

  Great hotel right on the beach. They got humidifiers inside the rooms in addition to the standard A/Cs which is a nice touch. We loved the front desk staff too (gave us bottled water when I asked for a water fountain complimentary). I will be happy to stay here again whenever I come back to Daytona. Keep up the good work.

  Avoid the Best Western Aku Tiki Inn at all costs. This place is an absolute dump. As we were sitting in the lobby we were immediately greeted by ROACHES. There is no excuse for that. It’s filthy, unacceptable, and honestly shocking that this place is even allowed to operate like this. They advertise a tiki bar on their website — that’s one of the reasons we booked. There is NO tiki bar. None. False advertising at its finest. If you’re going to lure guests in with amenities, they should actually exist. The pool was revolting. The water looked dirty, poorly maintained, and completely uninviting. I wouldn’t let my worst enemy swim in it. Because of the roaches and overall disgusting conditions, we refused to stay. We didn’t even spend the night. And what did management do? Refused to refund us. On top of that, the manager was EXTREMELY rude — dismissive, unprofessional, and clearly unconcerned about the fact that guests are being put in unsanitary rooms. Zero accountability. Zero customer service. Zero standards. This hotel is misleading, filthy, and unapologetic about it. Do yourself a favor and book literally anywhere else.

  Ivie and Connor are the absolute best. Will 100% be coming back if I’m in the area. Casual, simple, and a warm welcome as the sun on the shore

  The Best Western Aku Tiki Inn Daytona Beach Fl. is deplorable, I would not recommend for anyone to stay at this location. If you do please I encourage you to inspect your room. There were roaches everywhere in the rooms and syringes found in the room under mattresses. The rooms were dark & dingy. The manager and staff were rude and unwilling to accommodate a housekeeping request. I have pictures but due to the graphic nature I won't post. However please dont stay here if you do,do at a HIGH RISK.
