- JBJennifer Bays4 days ago1.0From the moment I got to the front desk I have regretted stay at this hotel. The front desk staff was completely disrespectful and dismissive. My wife and I both have the same rewards account, so when the reservation showed up and her name I was told that I could not stay in the room even after I explained the situation. I informed them that my wife was 4 hours away at home with my children and I am on a work trip. Your staff informed that she would have to drive down and sign an authorization form so that I could stay in the room and then drive back. I said "that's not possible. How am I supposed to have her do that with children at home?" The answer I received was "Thats not my problem." I asked if there was any other way forward and was told no and without that form I wouldn't get any room period. The other front desk came around and said the form could be emailed. So we did and when I am finally able to get to being assigned a room, I informed her that I'm a recently retired 20 year combat veteran and that I would like a room if possible with at least one person occupying either room next to me because the ambient noise helps me relax. From what I am use to is when it's to quiet it triggers my ptsd because that's when I start to expect terrible things are about to happen." Her response was that she didn't understand how that would matter and that she thought my request was stupid and didn't make any sense to her. Furthermore I would get what ever room she had already and assigned me to have and that was it. Needless to say I have never had this problem with any hotel I have ever stayed at and have never been treated with such disrespect and disregard. I wasn't looking for any special treatment, just some empathy as to my situation and an effort to see if it was possible. I should never ever feel like that as a paying guest, veteran, or even simply as a human being. When I finally get to the room it is disgusting. There was still trash in the bins, beer in the fridge, and fecal stains in the toilet. Completely and utterly unacceptable, but since I get whatever room they allow me to have, I just have to deal with it to have some where to sleep. I was treated with complete disregard and degradation on every level possible. I will never stay at this hotel again.

Less than 24 hours before my arrival, they abruptly cancelled my confirmed reservation with no explanation whatsoever. No apology, no alternative arrangements, not even the courtesy of a phone call—just a cold cancellation notice that left me scrambling to find last-minute accommodation. I couldn't even get someone on the phone from the desk. Their carelessness caused major disruption to my travel plans, unnecessary stress, and additional expense. A hotel that can’t honor its own confirmed bookings—or at minimum communicate like professionals—has no business operating in the hospitality industry. If you value reliability, transparency, or even basic respect, avoid this place at all costs. There are plenty of establishments that understand what hospitality actually means. This one clearly does not.
