I was walking the area with my macaw and was asked to come to the pier by employees who wanted a picture with him. I was kind and answered all questions and was polite to other guests. I was told I could pick out a souvenir for myself for coming over and I grabbed a few shirts to buy but had to run to the restroom first while there was a break in people enjoying my macaw. I was then approached and told to leave by a male employee who went out of his way to come find me to deliver the message literally moments after I finally got away from other employees taking pictures and was trying to find a restroom so I could get my shirts and leave. I was not even on Westgate property when approached. I won't ever return here, won't ever recommend it and I sat down my $120 purchase and did not return for it. I walked away from the register to find a restroom before completing my purchase and your male employee told me to leave and so I did without returning to the store. I informed every single person who asked for a photo on the way out that I do not support the business and I would have allowed them to take a photo but I was firmly asked to leave. Don't invite people to your pier and then very publicly berate them in front of others for coming to your pier. I'll be posting this in all local groups and informed everyone taking pictures to please include in their post that the bird was asked to leave by westgate after they received their free experience. I did not want to come to your pier. I do not support Westgate and never have. It took convincing to even get me over there and I knew I would regret it because I've regretted every partnership I have ever had with the company and the family that owns it. Do better. There's a reason you need a macaw to attract people to spend money. The pier is an obvious cash grab with no heart and soul. It's not where memories are made. It's where money is spent. That's the whole experience with Westgate. Enjoy!

Made an afternoon trip from Orlando to let kids see the ocean. Beautiful beach. Plenty of free parking. Showers to rinse sand off. Wife enjoyed a big drink from the pier. Enjoyed the area so much we took the time to research the area better to make a future trip and stay at one of the many resorts in the area. Ocean water was warm. Perfect for swimming.

Force their employees to park in public parking even though they have a giant parking lot of their own. Money hungry corporation
