  The room we got was directly located on the ground floor facing to the busy street. It was very loud at night. The room itself was very old, dark and dirty and had a strange smell. The choice for breakfast is very limited, only a waffle machine, pancake machine and a choice of toast. No healthy choices available. Coffee was ok. Only plastic cutlery and paper dishes available. The service although was always very friendly, easy and fast. Be careful when showering, we left the door open just a little and the steam activated the smoke detector which is placed directly on the side of the bathroom door on the wall, no good placement at all!

  Friendly & helpful front desk staff! Was so grateful that the manager was able to help get us on a cruise shuttle last minute! It was an oversight on my part but she was happy to help! The room we had was an ocean front balcony. Views were great however the room had a musty smell & there was a water above the toilet that was coming through the light fixture. We brought it to the attention of the manager and hopefully it was fixed! Other than that it's a nice spot to stay when you come in before your cruise!

  Nice location. Short walk to the beautiful beach. Lots of stuff nearby. Decent breakfast. Room was clean enough…however…who knows when the floor was mopped last. Don’t walk barefoot for even a minute if you don’t want black feet. BIGGEST COMPLAINT: paper thin walls!!! Worst overnight experience in a hotel for me. Every room near you sounds like the people are in your room. Woken up all through the night to people’s doors slamming shut, talking, constant noise. I’ve never experienced this at a hotel before. Maybe it’s worse because they put us in an adjoined room….so if you want to risk staying here, make sure to demand a room not adjoined to another. When staying in this area again, I will choose a different hotel.

  The oceanfront views are amazing, but now the bad. We noticed when we got to our room (king oceanfront for 2) we only had 1 washcloth & 2 towels, I called and asked for more 2 hours go by & I called again only for the linens to be left on a table across from our room in the hallway. 2 of the white lampshades in our room did have black mold on them, the carpet is so dirty that walking on them turns the bottom of your feet black, the musty smell in the room was very over powering (went & purchased febreze to help) and the bed springs was so bad it felt like you was laying on a hard floor, nothing there for any support. But after driving over 10 hours to get there we just tried to make the best of it. This was our second time staying here & the first time was amazing that’s why we booked again but I don’t think we will risk it for a 3rd time.

  I've never stayed beachside somewhere and felt like I had to keep looking over my shoulder before. That's a new experience. Should have read the reviews before I booked. This person's review was spot on: "The rooms are small and have not been updated in a very long time. The photos you see online are not for the standard rooms. Standard rooms feel like a roadside motel. You can hear EVERYTHING in the adjacent rooms. Breakfast is cheap...the fake eggs have gotten even faker. Bed was cheap and uncomfortable. Honestly the entire area just feels run down. Way overpriced for what it is." My addition: Shower curtain ripped in 4 places. The lotion has dirt around the label and cap so you can tell staff either hasn't thrown out between visitors or keeps refilling it..nasty to think of what other short cuts they're taking. Beach hotel with beach rates! What a joke at the price tag they charge. One night and I'm out of here!
