- DMD. M.S.Dec 18, 20252.0Cosmetically the hotel and the rooms look fine but my stay in room 419 was marred by a terrible bed and an even worse breakfast. My bed was rock hard and every time I tossed and turned you could hear the springs. Very cheap bed and I did not sleep well. I don't expect much from a free hotel breakfast but at least you can usually get oatmeal. The only oatmeal available at this hotel had 13 grams of added sugar. And there was only whole milk available, no skim milk, or lowfat or oat milk or almond milk. It's a shame they can't provide any healthy breakfast options. I mentioned these things upon checkout and the woman apologized but no discount or honors points were offered. I paid $180 which was too much for what I got.

I was traveling back to Coral Gables from Fort Myers late one evening and did not want to risk breaking down in the rural areas of central Florida after dark. This is by far the nicest Hampton Inn I've ever stayed in. The facility was extremely well-kept and impeccably decorated for the Christmas holidays. I don't get excited about new hotel experiences much, but this was the most memorable one from any chain in recent years. Kudos to the Clewiston staff and management for my best Hampton Inn experience ever!
