  I stay at a lot of hotels and this one had to be one of my most disappointing stays in several years. In addition to the hotel nightly rate we paid an additional $107 to let our pet stay. That felt excessive, but I wouldn’t have minded if the rest of the experience wasn’t awful. The room itself was extremely dated and had weird colored walls. Our room was not stocked with kleenex, toilet paper, or towels. Not a great way to wake up in the morning when you are about to hop in the shower and realize you don’t have anything to dry yourself off with. There was also loads of dog hair in our room that we cleaned up ourselves. You’d think with the amount they charge to let your pet stay they would vacuum or sweep well before the next guest arrives. On top of that security was poor. Doors to the property could be opened at any point of the night without a key card. Lots of zombies on the property or outside the doors smoking and likely doing drugs. Loud music at the pool late into the night. The front desk staff was friendly and the bed itself was comfortable. With that being said I would never book here again. Felt like a $50 hotel room when in reality is was 1.5x that.

  This place is the perfect stay for an early flight at Clearwater/St. Pete Airport. It was nice to see families there. Outdoor pool and restaurant were a nice surprise. I feel like it was very affordable. The air conditioner was kinda loud, but it may have blocked any noise. If needed extra shampoo etc. it was available at the front desk. You don’t need a lot of money to have to have a nice place to stay.

  Lisa, Marcedes, Joan, Patti, and Alicia in Aviators Tavern have been absolutely amazing. The room was immaculate, the staff has been so friendly and accommodating, and have made this trip a memorable one in a very good way. Kudos to all you wonderful ladies!

  We stayed here from Sunday to Saturday and unfortunately had a very poor experience. Housekeeping was a major issue during our stay. Our room was not properly cleaned a single time. Even after requesting full service and making sure our room was accessible, the only thing that was ever done was the trash being taken out. No beds were made, no sheets were changed, no bathroom cleaning and no actual reset of the room. To make matters worse, we found old trash hidden behind the curtain in our room, including fast food and beer cans with a receipt dated March 22. We checked in on April 5, which means this had been sitting there for about two weeks before we arrived. This clearly shows that rooms are not being thoroughly cleaned between guests. We also had an issue in the parking lot where kids were throwing a football and hit our vehicle. When we brought this to the front desk’s attention, the response was dismissive, and nothing was done to address the situation. Overall, this experience showed a lack of basic cleanliness standards and poor handling of guest concerns. Because of this, we would not choose to stay here again.

  Came here not by choice but because it was paid for with funding given for us uniformed folks when you live too far. At first, I thought it was nice due to the lobby area. The lobby space is BEAUTIFUL!!! However, in my opinion that same beauty wasn't put into the rooms. The room that my buddy and I had, had a smell to it. The carpet was nasty and the bathroom wasn't all that great. Im only 5'5, and when it came to the toilet felt like I was about to fall through the floor because it was rather low. The tub was dirty on the outside and it fill with water as the shower ran. Our soap dish fell off the wall because my guess being it was old. Called the front desk about it. We couldn't change rooms due to it being booked up and all the rooms were occupied. And since my buddy forgot to take off the DND sigh, they couldn't come in and fix it while we were gone. The pillows were meh and didn't have any firmness to them. I used 3 of the 4 pillows to somewhat get what i was trying to achieve. The food wasn't bad and my friend said the drinks were good. I had wine, which was pretty good. The staff was pleasant as well. I just wished that hotels put as much effort in the rooms that they put in the front desk/lobby area. The difference to me is night and day.
