    For the price, I'm shocked at the poor room quality. Dated, not the cleanest, no real amenities that stand out. If you get it for $100 a night, worth the price. Near $200 for a king?? Insane. Felt like a motel. Better off at a Hilton or Marriott.

    My wife and I arrived slightly early for a quick one-night stayover, on our way home from out of the country, and discovered "Lyric" behind the counter, which helped us with early check-in and recommendations for fun and food.

    2.5 stars at best. Old and run down room conditions. Rooms need a deep clean and updates. Management is very poor. Vending machines have no water for guests and the hotel was unable to provide caffeinated coffee in any rooms the 3 days I was there and the atrium restaurant is severely short staffed. One person serving and cooking was ludicrous.

    The quality at this location is just lower than Ive ever seen for a Holiday Inn. It has a smell to it, somewhat resembling a building that probably sustained water damage. Cleanliness is moderate at best Its outdated in several aspects. Not all staff speak English. I will say the pool area was okay and the staff were friendly, but I was disappointed in Holiday Inn for this particular location. I would not stay at this location again.

    So I called the front desk when I booked this room because I wanted to confirm we would have shuttle. I told the lady we weren't landing until 1030 at night and she said oh just call us and we will come get you. Well we tried and they said the shuttle stopped at 10 so I had to pay 25 bucks for a taxi. Then there was a roach in our bathroom, welcome to Florida! The same lady also told me that breakfast was included in the room and we came downstairs and sure enough it was not included. We waited at the hostess stand and no one was around so we decided to get breakfast somewhere else and this was 8 am so there is no way breakfast was over. At checkout I told them all this and they did nothing to make it right. On the positives the bed was comfortable, the room was dark and quiet. Good enough for a night stuck at the airport.
