  We stayed in a suite in February. First time visit, sight unseen other than online. This resort is beyond 5 stars! We felt our 10 day stay was beyond any experiences we've had in the 50 years of coming to Clearwater Beach, staying at other "nice" hotels. The staff is to be commended for their service to the customer. When trash was placed outside the door or used towels, they were picked up within 30 minutes every time. The rooms were kept in pristine shape every day with the room service. I saw sand on the elevator carpeting in the morning one day - we returned a few hours later and it had been vacuumed up. The location was perfect for parking and walking everywhere. Jimmy's Iguana, located on the first floor, was a blast with the music, food was fabulous as was the staff and service! The pool was constantly being watched over by a pool maintenance person. Chairs were promptly put in order after guests left; I observed the pool being cleaned thoroughly in the morning - the tiki bar was a bonus for their delicious dirty banana drinks. I cannot say enough about how great our stay was. We will be booking again, for a longer period of time, next year in February as well. Congrats to this location's management team. Well done!

  Mi experiencia en el Holiday Inn & Suites Clearwater fue muy decepcionante. Desde el inicio, el servicio al cliente fue deficiente; el personal no fue amable ni resolvió nuestras inquietudes de manera profesional. Sentimos poca atención y falta de interés en brindar una buena experiencia. Además, la habitación estaba sucia al momento de entrar. El baño no estaba bien limpio, había polvo en varias superficies y las sábanas no se veían frescas. Incluso el microondas estaba sucio por dentro, con restos de comida, lo cual fue muy desagradable. Para ser una cadena reconocida, esperaba mucho más en cuanto a limpieza y mantenimiento. No fue una estancia agradable y, sinceramente, no lo recomendaría ni volvería a hospedarme allí.

  Beware when booking. Although the hotel room can hold 6 people.. they will add on $150 for an extra person ( we had six). Didn’t bother to mention it while booking. I just noticed where you said they don’t charge for an extra person I sent you an email with proof. Thank you

  This was the biggest disappointment. The bathroom was terrible, toilet was the height for grade school, shower and sink was from 80's or 90's, no pressure, and extremely crowded. The room has new furniture but a mattress with permanent indentation. We asked for it to be exchanged and nothing was done except they made the bed. The window treatments are torn, stained, and falling apart. You need every muscle to use the balcony sliding door. I will never stay with IHG again. Hilton solely going forward. Thanks for nothing Holiday Inn Clearwater

  Staying on the beach. You pay a premium. The front desk manager needs additional training and learn what is hospitality. He was extremely rude on check-in. That's set the tone for the rest of the visit. Which quite honestly was sad because the staff there was great in spite of him. But because of that next time I will take my premium dollars elsewhere.
