  For a hotel built in October 2023, and for over $200 a night, the wear and tear and general uncleanliness of the room was shocking. Huge scuff marks all over the walls, debris under furniture that would have been easy to vacuum, a nasty greasy handprint by the TV, bathroom faucet leaked badly, worn furniture, just all very surprising. I'm sure most guests are just spending one night to get on a cruise since it's right at the port, but this place needs some maintenance in a bad way. I will say, the lobby, pool, and breakfast were very nice. The room was just very disappointing for the age and price. ALSO - the website for this hotel CLEARLY STATES check-in is at 3PM and checkout is at 12PM. When we got there, the front desk clerk stated check-in was 4PM and checkout was 11AM. Multiple other reviewers have pointed this out. We planned our ship boarding time around a 12PM check out and had to wait in our car for an hour in the parking lot after checking out.

  Very easy convenience easy to walk to the port .i wish I did a while ago. customer service was good, check in was very easy pool was great, comfortable rooms and clean rooms breakfast with delicious.

  Stayed here the night before our cruise. Great proximity to the port for the morning of embarkment! Rooms were clean, staff was nice. Only complaint was one of the double queen room beds was very close to the wall, making it a bit difficult if getting up in the middle of the night. Pool area was nice, just a tad cold for our liking. Staff did great with the breakfast slam of cruisers getting their meal before getting on their ships! Would highly recommend this as a place to stay!

  Check in is 3-4PM and checkout is 11AM. Received an email the day prior with incorrect times from Holiday Inn. Hotel itself is ok but not what I expected for the cost. It is conveniently across from terminal 3 and 1 down the street. Add $15 for use of the parking lot plus $50 cleaning deposit that apparently is returned when room is cleared? Will update if this is false.

  I don’t usually leave reviews, and we have stayed in many a Holiday Inn Express in other locations so I had an idea of the experience to expect, but our experience here was so disappointing that I felt compelled to put out a few disclaimers to those who might be considering a stay. First, the website said check in at 3pm and check out at noon, but when we got here we found out that check in is at 4 and check out is at 11, so we were apparently there an hour early. The front desk staff was just completely rude - the lady saw me come in and went into the back for 5 mins. When I finally peeked my head around the corner she seemed annoyed that I was there, like I was inconveniencing her. She was super condescending about the mix up in check in time communications, like it was our fault and how dare we expect to talk to a human before 4pm. Then, when we tried to take the kids swimming in the pool, the water was FREEZING - we are from Minnesota and are used to Lake Superior temps, and this was easily as cold if not colder than that. I specifically booked this hotel because the website said there was a heated pool, so that was a huge disappointment. The doors to the rooms also make a huge boom sound when closing, so we were up all night listening to the slamming of doors in the hallway. Booker beware!
