I am an IHG member and have never been treated more rudely by staff than at this hotel. My wife and I were given a bum key that didn't open the room so I went back down to get it reset. We came back to our room and put our stuff in and headed out to dinner. My wife took her key (the second key) which we didn't check the first time and it was also a bum key when we returned. We had just purchased soft drinks with the staff at the front desk and she went back down to get the key reset. They refused to reset her key because my name was on the room, stating that hotel policy doesn't allow them to issue a key except to a room holder." First off, we were already given the keys, and both were not set up properly. Since this was our second time with the issue, they should have been more apologetic and accommodating instead of robotic and refusing to reset my wife's key. The girl with the nose ring at the front desk treated both of us like we did not matter and accepted no responsibility for not issuing adequate keys in the first place.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express for a few nights before our cruise, with a pretty big group, and honestly, it couldn’t have been a better experience. The hotel is only about two years old, and is one of the nicest Holiday Inns we have stayed at—everything is spotless and beautifully maintained. Our room was spacious, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the whole place just felt fresh and welcoming. The staff deserves a huge shout-out. Every single person we interacted with was friendly and genuinely helpful. One night, there happened to be a rocket launch, and we got to watch it right from the property. The hotel engineer was out there too, sharing tons of cool information about the launch—such a fun and unexpected bonus. And I have to give a special thank-you to the Sales Director, Francesca. She was an absolute pleasure to work with during our stay—warm, attentive, and truly an asset to this hotel. She made us feel taken care of from start to finish.

We booked this hotel because it is directly across Terminal 3 (perfect if you are going on Carnival Mardi Gras or even Glory). Which means you don't need Uber or Lyft just walk across the street with your bags and enjoy your cruise. Unfortunately we found out when we got there that we were sailing out of Terminal 6 which is about 2 miles from the hotel. Still not bad. This hotel is very nice the rooms were clean and believe me I was ready with my cleaning bag IYKYK. The beds were comfortable and after a 6+ hour that bed was like a bundle of clouds lol. The young man that checked us in was super helpful and nice. Good luck with your schooling sir! Now, I don't know where else can you go and stay the night, get parking for the length of your cruise, and get free breakfast in the morning before your trip. But this hotel worked out great for us. I love the park and stay rate option. That was great because we saved more money not parking in the Cruise Terminal parking. Then everyone was able to get some snacks or breakfast for waiting at the Terminal preparing to get our Guy's burgers. We will definitely be back to this hotel for sure. We still need to try the pool, (which looked very nice), the weight room, heck even the ice machine 😆. We also said we would come back a few days before our trip to stay at the Holiday Inn Resort next door. Although I think that's a timeshare property 🤔. Anyway sorry for the long review but I'm a detailed person.

I booked a one-night stay at the hotel on October 21st and checked out on October 22nd. When I arrived at the airport, I realized I was missing my watch and my Stanley cup. I immediately called the hotel, and staff informed me that my cup had been found. Later, when I called back to ask about my watch, I was told I would need to wait for the manager to check the lost and found. I called multiple times, and at one point a front desk employee told me that both items had been located. Today, November 19th, after leaving several messages, I finally spoke with the manager, who stated that only the Stanley cup was found. This contradicts what the other desk clerk told me. Had someone checked the room promptly when I first called, I am confident my watch would have been recovered. This experience has raised serious concerns about staff honesty and the handling of lost items.. Now I’m being told to file a police report for my watch. One their staff definitely took my watch or they didn’t clean the room throughly including under the pillow where I left it and another guess booked the room and took it. Please exercise caution with your belongings when staying in these rooms

Hotel needs to inform all guests of extra fees. Stayed for two separate dates Nov 6-7th and 10-11th. I was told by the front desk representative that the two water bottles were “complimentary”… only for my credit card to be charged $16.80 for “amenities” after I checked out! Plus, I was charged a parking fee despite not having a car there. They also tried to charge us $350 for pillows they accused us of stealing the first night we stayed. Luckily, I saw the charge on my card and called to dispute it with them since we have no need to steal their uncomfortable pillows nor space to do so since we were boarding a cruise ship upon leaving. (Plus you need three just to feel like you have one pillow under your head!). They refunded that saying it was their mistake and they charged the wrong room, which seemed shady to me. We had that issue fixed, but now they’re charging us $16.80 because we drank their complimentary water. I will never stay here again. The hotel ignored my phone called today several times as well and then kept putting me on hold. It took calling quite a number of times before finally speaking to the general manager. I was definitely upset since by this time I was accused of stealing and overcharged twice. I explained that the front desk staff said the water was complimentary and he said I must not listen very well! Excuse me!! I was taken back by his comment so I told him my position in which I work and clarified that my listening skills are very much on point. Apparently, his staff needs to be retrained and work on their listening skills to inform every single customer of these amenity fees that are apparently not complimentary! Watch your bill after you check out because you may be nickel and dimed as well. I will never stay at another Holiday Inn after this insulting and shady experience at the Port Canaveral Holiday Inn!
