  We have stayed all over the United States, with holiday inn, never have we ever stayed at such a disgusting, stinky, no shower curtains, moldy smell, dirty bed sheets, dirty towels, dirty comforters , dirty damp floors and for the price this place charges to stay in filth is absolutely disgusting. Charge for everything, and expect people to stay in filth. I highly suggest this place get cleaned up or shut down, I do not know how a hotel can run so unsanitary. We Left couldn’t stay there , health department should definitely look into this place.

  Rooms outdated. I don’t even think our AC worked but luckily it was cool enough we didn’t need it for our quick stay. We were so hungry and didn’t want to deal with the Boca traffic so we ate on-site. The woman who was working the bar was extremely friendly!!! I give her a +5-star review. She was a joy to talk to and was very helpful. The food wasn’t bad either! It was very basic but still delicious and affordable! Very convenient to eat by the pool. My kids loved the pool even though it was a little chilly - the hot tub was great. We stayed here on a whim and this was the only hotel that had availability. We didn’t love the room but everything else was great.

  The good: comfortable bed and pillows, AC worked great The bad: front desk staff never made eye contact or said anything other than "here you go" during check in AND check out. In room coffee machine didn't work, no tissue box, shower pressure was a joke, and the room smelled sort of musty the whole time. You can tell this was renovated in the last 6-7 years or so but with only the cheapest materials, like a landlord on a budget not like 173/night hotel in a nice area. The trail behind the hotel was a nice surprise too!

  Please do not stay here. We made a reservation a month in advance through their app, but when we arrived in the middle of the night, we were told the hotel was fully booked and had no rooms available. We were traveling with a child, and there was no effort to accommodate us or offer a proper solution. Instead, we were sent to another hotel where we had to pay more. We contacted customer service, but no resolution was provided. This is extremely disappointing, especially for a supposedly prestigious hotel.

  We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Boca Raton (IHG), a property we used to enjoy, but unfortunately, this visit confirmed why we’ve avoided it over the past few years. The decline in service—something we’ve noticed steadily worsening over the last five years—has become impossible to ignore, and it’s clearly tied to changes in management and staff. As a Diamond Elite member, early check-in is a guaranteed benefit, yet this was not honored upon arrival. What made the situation worse was the complete lack of communication. No explanation was offered, and the front desk staff seemed either unaware or unwilling to address the issue. It wasn’t until I raised my concerns more assertively that the manager on duty finally stepped in. Only then were we told there was a gas leak—critical information that absolutely should have been communicated proactively for both safety and transparency. The fact that guests were left in the dark about something so serious is deeply concerning and reflects a troubling breakdown in both operations and guest care. Loyalty members expect a certain standard, and more importantly, all guests deserve clear communication and professionalism. Sadly, this property is falling far short of both. Until there are significant improvements in management, staff training, and overall service culture, we won’t be returning.
