Strangest hotel experience I have ever had. This place polices food like it is contraband, while having no real communal space for guests. We were here for work and spent about $30k with our team over the last month. After a long day on our worksite we ordered pizza to eat during a quick lobby meeting back at the hotel before bed and an early wakeup call the next day. We were told we could not eat any outside food unless it came from their kitchen. This is the lobby of a Hilton Garden Inn. Not a restaurant. The lobby was completely empty. Every table was unused. The restaurant they push is across the room and was also empty, except for 3 guests sitting at the bar having a nightcap. We even offered to order drinks from the bar and were still shut down. Impressive way to miss a sale. We could not sit at the empty tables. Not in the empty lounges. Nowhere. We were told to eat outside or go to a room and eat on a bed like raccoons. For a place that claims to be welcoming, this felt like a weirdly petty policy. If you are traveling for work, expect to be treated like a kid for eating food you did not buy from their kitchen. Future guests consider this your warning. This hotel is less hospitality and more hall monitor energy. A real vibe killer and a masterclass in how to make tired guests feel unwelcome when they are staying away from home.

I've stayed in more expensive places, and the amenities and cleanliness don't compare to this place. Burger at the bar was decent, room was super clean and bed was very comfortable. Very nice staff. Definitely if I'm in the area again this will be my go to spot.
