Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, and as an anxious and nervous bride—especially one who had to postpone her wedding by a full year—I cannot express how grateful I am for the support I received from the IHG Dover Hotel, specifically from Juli. I first spoke with Juli in April 2025, and from the very beginning she was warm, patient, and incredibly helpful. She was the first manager I had spoken to throughout my hotel block search who took the time to kindly explain the entire process and walk me through every detail. She didn’t just treat it like a transaction—she truly cared. About a month later, life happened and I had to postpone our wedding. I emailed Juli, worried and stressed, and her response was nothing but genuine kindness and understanding, even though we had only communicated by email. It meant so much during a really difficult moment. When I reached back out again in September to say the wedding was back on, Juli immediately welcomed me back with the same enthusiasm and support as before. She asked thoughtful questions, made sure every detail was right, and ensured that at least one part of wedding planning—securing the hotel block—was stress-free. Knowing that my guests and our wedding accommodations are in her hands has given me so much peace of mind. Brides need people like Juli during this process — someone kind, patient, and truly willing to help. Juli, thank you for making me feel supported and cared for during such a big life moment. Because of you, I can check this off my list and breathe easier knowing my guests will be taken care of. I cannot wait for our wedding weekend in August 2026 and I’m so grateful you’ll be a part of that experience. Has everything we expect from the brand...friendly staff at check in, very clean room and extensive breakfast selection with HOT food and a very attentive attendant! Great location for our southbound travel from New England to Virginia Beach. Would definitely stay here again!

Whenever I come in for work, it’s late and I’m exhausted and this trip was no different. I called in at 1 am hoping that they would have a room available for an unusually last minute trip to Delaware and fortunately Bella answered. She was prompt and courteous and went above and beyond to ensure that everything was ready for me in literally 10 minutes. Everything was a breeze I could not be more appreciative of her hospitality and will definitely be back. Thank you Bella!
