  I had a very enjoyable stay at the hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring everything was well taken care of. The on-site French brasserie, Café du Parc, was a particular highlight. Delicious food served by welcoming staff. The only minor issue was the TV placement, which was off to the side rather than in front of the bed, making it less convenient to watch. Overall, a highly recommended experience.

  A very interesting hotel.. valet and parking is expensive ($75) but it seems to be only a little more than the nearby parking garage, so valet was worth it. At times, it could be busy and getting your car could take a while. Traffic is also busy. Located directly on the wharf, outside of the hotel can be quite busy at peak season. It's location is also prime, next to all the restaurants and such. Rooms were clean and spacious; and service was professional and courteous. Overall, a great stay for what we were looking for!

  I rarely write hotel reviews, but this stay truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel, room, and overall atmosphere were wonderful—everything felt clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. The location was excellent, right in the Wharf area of DC, with so many great dining options and easy walking access to the heart of the city. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were warm and welcoming. I would absolutely stay here again.

  My husband and I stayed at the Intercontinental to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Everything was top tier from arrival to departure. We were greeted by valet and the bellhop in a most excellent way; opened our car door, greeted with a warm genuine smile, and welcomed to the hotel. Next, we were checked in by Trey who provided every level of detail to make our stay was wonderful and told us of the happenings-Cherry Blossom celebration on the rooftop was beautiful. Our room was beyond our expectation, elevated luxury with a professional flare. Each day of our stay, we were warmly greeted by the front desk and valet team. Housekeeping was exceptional as well. The young lady that worked our area clearly cared about her work and upholding the IHG standards. The person that checked us out (I forgot to confirm the name- Erinn I think. Tall young man with locs) was helpful, managing the checkout process with ease. What’s especially lovely, is being remembered by face. Everyone was friendly. My husband and I have agreed to make this our annual anniversary celebration stay. Thank you for helping to make our time a beautiful memory 💗

  Here on points with my wife and son and daughter-in-law during the cherry blossom festival. We had a wonderful time. The hotel was fabulous. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and they went well above and beyond our expectations for service. For example, I failed to make a dinner reservation at one of The Wharf's best restaurants on the busiest night of the year but the concierge pulled some strings for us and got us the best table in the house for a party of six! The boardwalk is right outside the front door. The views are spectacular. It's a little bit of a walk to the metro but the Lyft fairs were super cheap at the time of our visit ($11 to get to the capitol building). It was cool and a little windy on the wharf so bring layers, especially if you're coming for the festival in late March. Washington DC is an amazing place for tourism as there are sooo many things to see and we are very happy to have chosen the Intercontinental Wharf hotel for our lodging.
