My wife was startled by the sudden noise and movement, which led to neck pain from reacting so quickly. This was disappointing for both of us, and it could have been avoided with a simple advance notice to guests. While fire safety is important, effective communication with guests is equally essential. Hotels should inform guests ahead of any scheduled alarm testing to prevent unnecessary fear and potential injury. Additionally, although our room was clean, we did not receive the exact room type we had originally booked upon arrival. We hope the management will improve communication and coordination for the benefit of future guests.

Housekeeping was consistent and kept everything neat throughout my stay. The staff were friendly and professional, always willing to help with questions or recommendations. Check-in and check-out were smooth and stress-free. Overall, this hotel offers great value for the price, with good amenities and a convenient central location. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Washington, D.C., and would happily stay here again!
