Excellent location, great service and place is clean. However the water pressure is not the greatest and the TV connection is horrible.

A nice experience for five nights at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were spacious and newly remodeled. It had s nice fitness area. As I was there in November, the pool was shut down for the season. Starbucks is attached and a few eateries and McDonalds were right down the block. It is a quick walk to the metro hub and the national mall. You can't beat the price.

Close proximity to Washington capitol and mall, good size clean rooms. Prices could be better and expensive breakfast for the value and a bit tight underground parking for a full size bed truck with extended cab on both height and width/turns, but doable if careful.

Stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The reception staff on arrival were very friendly and full of helpful tips and information. I think the ladies name was Keeda. Our room (341) was spacious, the bed was super comfy, and it was fairly quiet at night . The shower handle was a bit tricky to figure out at first, but once you get the hang of it, it works ok. Breakfast was quite good, and the waiting staff were very pleasant. The hotel is in a great central location. Most major attractions were within a 20–25 minute walk, and the metro station is literally across the road. Chinatown is about a 20-minute walk away, with plenty of restaurants (though funnily enough, we only spotted one actual Chinese restaurant!) One small downside, the ladies’ restrooms downstairs had a surprisingly wide gap between the door and the frame, which really affected privacy. You could actually see people sitting down on the toilet even with the door shut, which was quite uncomfortable. Not sure why toilet doors need such big gaps! Overall though, a great stay and would happily return.

First the good— The location is great if your going to museums on the national mall or anything nearby. This was the perfect location but was awful during the govt shut down due to nothing being open nearby. The bad— The beds were like sleeping on hard wood floors. When asked to move rooms for a softer bed, they said they could put a pad on the bed but could not move us. The mattress pad they put on there was a cheap half inch cotton pad. Not even a nice foam pad like you’d have at home. The ac was jacked up the first night and shut off at midnight and stopped cooling the room. We complained about it and they fixed it but the controls were set to 68 and never felt like they got lower than 72. I would not stay here again. The tv was old and not a smart tv either, so I couldn’t cast my phone to watch what I wanted to watch. Also the elevators are keyed and you need to use your hotel key to get up there. But one of the elevators doesn’t work, so it’s not that safe. The staff were okay. Not super friendly but also not rude.
