  This hotel was overall a great stay. The rooms were nice. Breakfast was pretty decent. The staff was kind. My biggest issue here was the amount of chlorine in the indoor pool that lacked ventilation. When we asked why the chlorine was so strong we were told the chlorine was just added earlier that morning! That is extremely unsafe and we had young children with us who were affected by this. They were coughing all night and had a hard time sleeping. When shocking a pool with chlorine you are supposed to wait 8-24 hours before using it for this purpose, or It can be very harmful.

  I’m a Diamond Elite member and stay at Holiday Inns all over the country, so my expectations are high. This location exceeded them. My room was extremely clean, and my two‑night stay was smooth from start to finish. I especially want to recognize Andy (I hope I have his name right). He worked Friday night into Saturday morning on 2/13/26 to 2/14 and truly went above and beyond. Not only did he arrange a shuttle for me and walk me through how everything worked, but he also made sure I received the exact room I requested. On top of that, he has a great smile and an outgoing, genuinely kind attitude — the kind of warmth and professionalism that’s becoming rare these days. He’s simply a great person, and he made my stay exceptional. The hotel is in a perfect location — about a mile from the airport, with plenty of excellent food options within five miles. I’m already looking forward to returning to this exact hotel, and I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to BDL.

  we took a family trip to CT for a weekend getaway. we specifically called this hotel a few times and asked about breakfast times and what it included and their pool, level of chlorine and temperature as we had a 4 month old baby traveling with us. we stayed for 2 days both days that we went down for breakfast by 830 we were told by the cook that the food was finished if we dont mind to eat cereal or oatmeal. they had a team of basket ball players and did not cater extra food to feed all their guest. we booked because of the breakfast so it was one less meal we would have to purchase additional. we paid $350 for the 2 nights and couldnt even enjoy the things that were supposed to be included. the pool room is so chlorinated that when you walk in the chlorine burns your eyes. our baby loves water and we took him with us for the weekend so he can have his first swimming experience, we asked about temp and chlorine level especially for him. the level was too high and the water temp was cold not warm as they told us. we dipped his feet in and didnt even get the chance to swim. my younger sister used the pool for 15 mins and rushed back to the room to shower because her skin was burning. we do not recommended this hotel and would not be staying there again especially for the price we paid.

  I have stayed at this hotel many times over 20 years and the hosts have always been very accommodating, friendly and very clean accommodations. Even with the change in ownership during that time the services only got better. The Patels are great hosts and run a clean, safe hotel.

  We noticed the rating before arriving and, while it’s not low per se, our experience still felt better than what a quick scroll might suggest. From the moment we checked in, the front desk agent was warm, capable, and genuinely helpful. They seamlessly arranged our early 4:30am airport shuttle, which set the tone for a smooth stay. The room was clean and comfortable, with fresh sheets, a spotless bathroom, and a mattress that made a short night of sleep feel surprisingly restorative. There’s a nice pool, which was a welcome bonus, and the real standout for me was the coffee. A modern machine that grinds fresh beans per cup is not something I expect at an airport hotel, and it made the morning feel thoughtful rather than transactional. This was exactly the kind of stay you hope for when traveling. Everything worked, the space was well cared for, and the people clearly take pride in what they do. Based on our experience, it absolutely deserves its solid reputation. Would happily stay again.
