What truly exceeded my expectations, however, was the service. The two young men at the front desk and the two ladies (unfortunately I can’t remember their names) working the bar and breakfast area were all exceptionally kind and welcoming.

He was accommodating patient and kind and during a holiday it’s hard to find someone like him who’s very patient. Thank you Derek, this hotel is lucky to have him servicing guests because he goes above and beyond without having to ask.

We chose this hotel strictly because of its convenient location and the fact that we had enough points from a recent credit card deal to stay there for free. This turned out to be one of those instances where you get what you pay for? This hotel desperately needs to be updated. Virtually. Everything in it seemed to be from the early 2000s. Lobby was a little grimy, only one elevator was working and it was pretty dirty, and our room while technically clean was so out of date that it's still seemed a little nasty. The staff themselves were okay. They got us checked in in a reasonable amount of time but with minimal effort around courtesy. My wife and I tend to visit Mohegan Sun a few times each year for concerts. We will not be returning to this hotel.
