The location of the hotel is good. The staff are mostly quite friendly. The hotel itself has mostly everything you need. The rooms, however, are very mediocre. First of all, the soundproofing is absolutely terrible. Someone walking by having a conversation sounds like they are talking INSIDE the room. We were on the 3rd floor and I could clearly hear people talking outside in the parking lot through the window. Second of all, a lot of things in our room were not working quite right. For instance, the water in the shower was either scalding or freezing. A lot of LED light strips used to light the area near the desk were falling off. The single chair in the room was very old and not very clean. The deadbolt on the door kept popping into the locked position when the door was open which caused a lot of problems shutting the door. The rooms really need some updating.

I stayed at the EVEN Hotel while in town for work and had a really good experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. The fitness center was a big plus — it was clean, had everything I needed, and was open till late at night which was convenient. Location is great too, close to restaurants and very central. Overall, it was a smooth, easy stay, and I’d definitely come back next time I’m in the area.

I’ve spent somewhere around 4 weeks at this hotel across business trips and have been disappointed every time. I’m not even expecting a 3 star level but somehow this place fails to shut down my expectations. I’ve been in Motel 6s nicer than this. Problems consist of: - Constant noise at all hours - Moldy showers and AC units - Staff constantly bargaining in even with the do not disturb sign (3 times in 1 week was this weeks record) - Shower products where the nozzle is broken so even if it’s full, you can’t get any of the product out without punching the bottle - Windows not closing all the way down so you can hear outside noise which is nicely accompanied by the construction outside - Hallway (near elevator) water machines broken - Snack bar kiosk broken (need to bring to a crowded front desk to checkout a water) If you get room 240 do yourself a favor and checkout immediately.

I stayed at the EVEN Hotel Norwalk while visiting family nearby and had a really good experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating throughout my stay, which made things easy and welcoming. The hotel and rooms were very clean, and you can tell they take good care of the property. It’s also in a convenient location, close to restaurants, stores, and easy to get around Norwalk from here. Overall, it was a comfortable, stress-free stay and I’d definitely consider staying here again next time I’m in the area.

I’m staying here right now for a couple nights for a work trip and it’s pretty awful. I take remote calls in the AM so I asked if I could be on a higher floor away from the elevator. Upon check in around 7pm, the lady at the front desk, who had her airpods in on the phone and was very rude, said most of the TVs on the fourth floor are broken (odd) so she’s going to put me on the third, I said ok as it was still further from the elevator and didn’t want to be difficult. I get to the third floor and the hallways are dark and falling apart with paint tape all over them, then I get in the room and the desk top areas are torn up but most disgusting of all, I find a used sexual “male enhancement” supplement wrapper on top of the closet from a previous guest. BEYOND disgusting and has completely put a gross vibe to this place. This shower was decent and the overnight person was great. The hotel is more affordable than some in the area but still not cheap at 150 a night and to have a room that was handled with such little care? Will NOT be coming back and would recommend looking elsewhere. You can find MUCH nicer places for a similar price point.
