- CDcherie dorazio2 days ago1.0The room was clean… The desk person said max 2 breakfasts when I paid for breakfast for the parties in my room… Breakfast waffle was burnt Complaints 5 minutes after we got here because of noise when we clearly came here for a youth football tournament so they knew we had 20 young boys Asked to be on same floor with kids said no and then checked random people in on the kids floor When I booked the room it said room and breakfast but when I only got 2 coupons and asked to buy an additional one she said it’s maxed at 2 and then said there was no breakfast buffet Only 1 person seating, serving, busing the tables in the restaurant took over an hour for 2 adults and 2 kids And then when I tried to shower there was no HOT WATER it was Luke warm only This was not a good place to stay for a group of kids

- RHRobert HOct 3, 20252.0I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn New London – Mystic Area and was very disappointed with several aspects of my visit. First, the breakfast. I paid $18 per day for breakfast for myself and my daughter, and for that price I expected something more than what we got. On the first day, it was just the standard buffet – but drinks weren’t even included. On top of that, there were big signs everywhere reminding you to tip, which felt over the top considering the hostess only seated us. On the second day, they switched to a menu-style breakfast. The menu was so limited that we just left and found food elsewhere. Overall, the breakfast package was overpriced, misleading, and absolutely not worth it. Second, the hotel parking lot setup was a headache. All but one of the gates into their lot were locked, which made getting around the building confusing and unnecessarily difficult. There were several other gates that could have been open to make navigation much easier, but instead it was a frustrating challenge just to drive and park. Between the disappointing breakfast experience and the poorly thought-out parking lot access, I can’t recommend this hotel. For the price, I expected much better.
