- JBJosh Bonanno2 days ago4.0Overall a good experience, the front desk was very helpful and gave me good recommendations on which spots to visit and eat at, since I was on vacation and they were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good too, lots of options to choose from and they had omelets and sausages. The rooms were clean and maintained well. And the location is only 10-15 minutes from downtown Hartford. However, the bathroom setup is weird - the toilet sits right underneath the countertop next to the sink and I was unable to lift both of the seats because of the overhang of the counter. Next, the walls are paper thin - my first night here there was a couple arguing in the room next to me and I could hear everything. And third, someone was smoking weed on the second floor and it made the entire hallway smell. (Not the hotels fault obviously, but I wish people had more consideration for others). Will I stay at this hotel again? Yes, I will. I had a comfortable stay.

Staff did not communicate that room cleaning was by request only for some days during our stay so we had to get our own towels etc. for two days. We even asked after Christmas and they didn't tell us it was because request only for the next day too? Or maybe they just decided not to come that day? No accessibility features for my elderly mother when we asked for them like a traction bath mat. Too expensive for what it was. I booked in advance but there were a bunch of Christmas rate specials when we arrived that staff said were not available to me. Breakfast was fairly good but otherwise I would not recommend.

I went to the front desk to let them know that we would not be able to do the seven days an said we were leaving on day three.We paid cash(BIG MISTAKE)as I was told hotel doesn’t offer refunds.I’m still in shock as the manager said the best he could offer as a refund was the other 4 days could be used in the future.We we’re not impressed with this hotel. Upon arrival, we’ve killed three cockroaches already. On D2 it seem to be a big deal to ask for a couple more towels. On that day, we were in the hotel planning on leaving. On that day The cleaning crew knock on the door into the housekeeping. I went to the door and asked if they could come back in 10 minutes as we were getting ready to leave and didn’t really want to be in there while they were cleaning. She smiled and said yes, we went back to the hotel a few hours later no cleaning was done. i’m just curious if anybody else has any issues with leaving the hotel and not being reimbursed for diesel not gonna stay there. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anybody
