  We ONLY stay at Hampton Inns and this has to be the best one yet. Excellent customer service from start to finish. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, and the location couldn’t be more perfect. Highly recommend if your in the area or need to stop for a halfway point

  This was our first stay at this hotel. We liked the king room, the service and location of this hotel. We only stayed one night. I would recommend this hotel to others.

  This place was fine, as it was quiet, plenty of parking and the staff were all friendly. Many eating options available, with two of them across the highway (Mexican & Pho Vietnamese). We will stay here again!

  My husband and I do a lot of traveling for work. It takes us to southern Litchfield county multiple times a year. I'm a free lance LMT and content creator and he's a consultant for a manufacturing firm. When we travel we stay at Hampton inns...and generally like them. However, our stay at the Hampton inn Danbury started off fine and ended absolutely HORRIBLE. We got at call at1030 in the morning from the front desk saying we can no longer stay because we had trashed the room the last time we stayed and needed to check out. I said that's not true and I'd like to talk to the manager. A tropical storm was crossing the area. My husband had work in the morning was forced to call in to relocate us for the duration of our stay. He had words with the man at the front desk asking to speak with a manager. And walked out leaving the car keys on the coffee table by the front desk. He went back inside to retrieve his keys and was told he had not left them... He distinctly remembers leaving the keys on the desk and is certain that the gentleman who he had words with regarding the absurd allegations of leaving the room trashed had taken them. So me and my husband had to sit in our car in a tropical storm freezing cold without being able to have the motor running waiting for a locksmith for 3 hours having to spend however amount of money it turned out being and loss of work based on unfound allegations of us leaving our room trash which is something that we never do. I mean it may have been a little messy but it certainly wasn't trashed. there was nothing broken certainly weren't smoking in the room we had no party in the room.,...we were asked to leave without being able to speak with a manager and my husband and I are diamond members with Hilton so please beware... It seems like the people at the front desk make their own rules and are absolutely horrible horrible horrible when it comes to customer service...

  The location is great for getting off and on the highway in either direction. You can walk across the parking lot to a few different restaurants as well as a bank ATM. All the desk staff were excellent. This is probably one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in. House keeping was on top of everything. Maintenance guys were very polite. I see people complaining about smoking, but people smoke outside, including marijuana because it's legal, and I never saw a single cigarette butt on the ground the entire week I was there. Everything here is kept up. Coffee was always there and always hot. Pool area clean. The breakfast is pretty good given that it's included in the stay. The hotel isn't that big so it's easy to get around quick and there's plenty of parking in back once you get a room key that lets you in the back door. Appreciate the hospitality from everyone at the front desk!!
