Super friendly front desk staff. He told us where to park to be closest to our room, without us even asking. Parking is $10 per night but considering it is a tourist town, I expected as much. Room was very clean, loved the Dove toiletries, Keurig with a few k-cups and tea bags, and a mini fridge in room. I think there was also a microwave but I can’t remember for sure. My niece used the hair dryer and it seemed to work just fine. Outlets next to the bed on the bedside table were convenient. They also have snacks and drinks for purchase in the front lobby. Comfy beds and pillows, and I have a bad back. I slept very well. I felt safe and welcome in this hotel. There is a Sinclair, other gas station, and Walgreens within 2 mins from the hotel. Good view from room. I was very happy with the hotel. I typically stay at Marriotts but I will now be more likely to book with Holiday Inn in the future.

Decent place for the price point. Front desk team is nice. Not walkable to anything, but the shuttle works well to get you to the mountain base where all the buses run. And perfect for a day at the mountain. Can also use the free city bus, but stop is a little down the road and across a somewhat busy road. Not ideal with a child in the dark. Would wish the shuttle would run past 5 pm to get through dinner time. The attached restaurant is convenient. Had breakfast there as part of the stay package. Moderately understaffed. Only one person working to serve everyone each day. Had to leave on the last day to finish packing after 40 minutes of no water and still waiting for my food. Hot tubs were also broken which was disappointing as this was some of the reason this place was booked. But in the end, booked for price so you get these things sometimes.

This hotel stay would have been a 4. But the elevator was making some weird noise. Naturally the first thing we looked at is the elevator certificate of operations. And we noticed the temporary one they got expired on 11/30. The temporary certification states the elevator “DOES NOT MEET the minimum requirements for an annual certificate of operation”. Recommend taking the stairs or staying elsewhere.
