One of the worst hotel service experiences two experienced travelers have had. Upon arrival we were informed the pool is not heated (which now appears to be a complaint many guests have had). Front desk tells us we can go to the local recreation center for free and explicitly told not to take the hotel towels to the rec center. When we visit the rec center, they reported we would have to reimbursed by the hotel. We rent a towels and a locker. When we go back to the front desk at the hotel they try to not reimburse us for anything but entry even though we were told we had to rent towels and a locker was necessary for our belongings. Later we found on an itemized receipt the hotel tried to charge us for the rec center lock rental. Next, my room key stopped working in the middle of our stay. A Saturday afternoon at this hotel and there is no one at the front desk, just three people in an office cracking each other up. I had to go and ask for assistance from what I assume is a manager. My husband had a similar experience in the day. However, this time the gentleman “helping” he reports “their system doesn’t seem to be working” and offers to walk me to my room, leaving us without a working key. A little later my husband went down and was able to get a new key. We attempted to call down to the desk and the phone in the room was not functioning, which seems like a big safety concern. Sunday check out time comes, lots of guests in the lobby and no one at the front desk. We again had to find someone in an office to settle the bill. Overall, nice room, free parking, abysmal service for over $200/night and would recommend asking for itemized receipt.

This was one of the best hotel stays I've experienced in a while. Kathrine (general manager) and Indira were extremely kind and helpful. Amenities were top notch, and the room was very clean. I am looking forward to staying there again in the future.

The General Manager, Kathrine Goodman, has proven to be a dishonest individual with deep-seated biases. Following a security breach on March 5th where masked intruders violently kicked guest's door , Ms. Goodman chose to protect the intruders and fabricate a false narrative to the BBB to smear guest. The most telling part? She claims "misconduct" but strictly refuses to release the hallway and kitchen surveillance footage that would prove my innocence. If her story were true, she would have called the police on March 5th or released the video immediately. Instead, she waited until I received compensation from IHG Corporate to engage in retaliatory eviction on March 11th, refusing my legal reservation and calling the police as a form of harassment. Her management is a disgrace to the Hotel Indigo brand. She is hiding behind "confidentiality" to cover up her own gross negligence and defamatory lies. Avoid this property at all costs.

I booked a reservation at the Hotel Indigo in Silverthorne, CO through hotels.com for Mar 13, '26. So my reservation should have been paid through hotels.com for my stay. When I checked in they said yes you do have a reservation through hotels.com. I stayed for one night, the 13th March, '26. When I got home I saw that Hotel Indigo had charged me for my stay even though I had paid through hotels.com. I tried contacting them several times. Most of the times they did not pick up the phone. The few times they did pickup, I would keep getting transferred between front desk, billing services, and guest services, with 10-15 mins holds in between. And then they would say please hold we will contact management and would disconnect the call. Or they would say management will contact you in 24-48 hours but that never happened. This happened many times. I am wondering if these guys are doing fraud and double-charging, hoping people will get tired and not pursue them further. I contact =ed my credit card company to get the charge cancelled. If you book through a third party and when they say at check in that they want your credit card number for incidentals, be careful and remember to verify at checkout if they charged you for something else, because if you get charged extra and try to call them when you get home, you will get nowhere.

All style, less substance. The hotel is pretty, clean and modern looking, but it seems that's all they spent their money on instead of focusing on things that matter to the guests, at least in my personal opinion. I booked through AAdvantageHotels portal, and like those that made Booking.com reservations, I was hit with undisclosed hidden fees upon arrival. Apparently, these fees must be exclusive to Indigo or something 'cause I've never ran into this problem with any other hotel bookings, but I wasn't aware of it until it was too late and I was practically forced to eat the cost or find another hotel and lose all my points spent on the booking. I am currently fighting with AAdvantageHotels to get the fees recompensated, but that's a different story. I don't understand how booking through 3rd parties would hide the costs but I guess that's a frequent problems that Indigo should address with those parties, and not surprise their customers when they show up. Now for the room, it looks nice and clean, but that's basically it. It lacks the features that my friends and I are looking for, like comfy beds, a bigger fridge and trashcans. The fridge is the smallest fridge I've ever seen in a hotel and for three people traveling, it just wasn't enough space to put our drinks and food leftovers. The trashcans were also very small, and by our first night, it was full, and the main trashcan in the room is not something that is moveable to be put out for the cleaning service. No hot tub. There's a pool that's supposed to be heated but is just lukewarm. No breakfast included, but I knew this when I booked so I won't knock any points on that, although reading what others have reviewed, paying for breakfast seemed like a bad deal. There are some pros however, like free garage parking, nice shower, and great location to food and services within walking distance. Also there's 24/7 hot chocolate and coffee. Overall though, if you're the type of traveler that likes a new, fancy looking place to sleep without much else, this could be for you. For us budget travelers who want more bang for our bucks, the provided amenities were simply lacking. The hidden fees upon arrival really sour my experience as well.
