  As usual this basic, budget-friendly Spark by Hilton offered comfortable beds, an adequate room with fridge and microwave and a complimentary breakfast. The staff is friendly and Matt was very helpful, quick to respond to a maintenance issue with the thermostat. The location was perfect for a quick morning return to the Interstate, but Denver traffic on Thanksgiving Eve was crazy. Really it was Matt’s TLC that made the stay enjoyable.

  Average hotel needing some renovation. It was clean, just aging. The exhaust fans in 2 of the bedrooms our group had did not work. The paint, the caulk and lack of little things, like no trash can around the sink or room area but bathroom toilet area alone was odd. Especially when someone was using the shower or toilet and having to set trash on the counter to wait for the shower area to open up and throw trash away. One can tell when tou go in the hotel is aging quick and could use a MAJOR renovation. Colors, hall carpets etc.

  Booked because of good reviews and 2nd least expensive in the vicinity. BYO toilet paper. I think there is sand paper softer than the toilet paper in the bathrooms. The breakfast was continental (oatmeal, cereal, bagels/toast) with boiled eggs, fruit and vanilla yogurt dispenser with toppings. Not great if you are diabetic or wanting a hot protein. There are refrigerated and frozen items for purchase and a microwave to heat them up. There is coin laundry available and a water station for filling up water bottles. Coffee and tea station are available all day, though may not be hot. Rooms had a microwave and mini fridge which you may need to adjust the temperature in the back. Beds were very comfortable and there is a smart tv. Bathroom floor tiles felt loose/soft and there were signs of previous repair. Standing in the shower really showed age of hotel as it was not well supported and squeaked with every step. Water temperature and pressure was fine. Overall, a good night's stay minus the tp and breakfast.

  Hotel was very loud. Dogs were constantly barking. There was a fire alarm in the middle of the night. We were all trying to figure out if we needed to evaluate. Staff was not helpful. It turned out to be a false alarm but we had to wait until the fire department came to turn it off. No acknowledgement or apology from the staff. Would not recommend.
