    The WiFi info was incorrect/inconsistent. There was a laminated info sheet in the room that said one thing and matched the room key cover. That network was not an option and the unsecured/no password guest network said “not trusted”. The same info sheet also stated copies and faxes were complimentary at the desk, but was told I would be charged $1/page. I saw that the pool was “heated and opened year round” online, yet it was actually closed for the winter. There were renovations taking place and they didn’t clean up the hallway or stairs after themselves. There were sharp pieces of wood and screws laying around. My room was upgraded, but the info sheet should have been pulled from the room or the complimentary printer availability should have been honored as it was the information posted in writing. The cable tv channels worked, but when I clicked on Netflix, it said the tv wasn’t on the network. They did provide 2 bottles of water at check in which was very nice, and the updated room was pretty nice with blackout shades. The overall decor was very outdated in the common spaces and the front desk staff used the new owner/mgmt as the excuse for the discrepancies I came across and didn’t really “put the guest first” or have the mindset of “the customer is always right”. I’m not one to normally leave this type of review, but I felt like my concerns and issues were ignored and brushed off in a way that was off putting. In my opinion, you should close while doing all renovations and reopen when the hotel is ready for business as a whole. It was definitely just ok and not too expensive, yet only a tiny bit cheaper than newer hotels in close proximity. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were not great. The soaps and shampoo, etc could be a bit better, but there was a fridge and microwave which was also nice. If I stay in the area again, I will be staying somewhere else. At least until their renovation is complete and all info is correctly posted across the board.

    The room was clean. The towels were thick and nice. The bed was super comfy. It was quiet, which is great for a Friday night, and I felt safe. The coffee is great! The only complaint I have is that the carpets throughout the hotel, outside of the rooms, looked like they haven't been vacuumed in months. It was very off putting, especially as a first impression. All in all, this is the second time that I've stayed here, and I would stay here again.

    Read the other recent reviews about this place. I’ve been staying here for 10 years now. This hotel recently got new management which is horrible. The stories about smelly rooms, noise complaints, unauthorized charges are all true. We stayed just 3 weeks ago and experienced this. The manager was rude about it and unwilling to assist in resolving the issues. Their website also mentioned their one of a kind year round outdoor heated pool. The new manager shut it down but hasn’t updated the website. Because of our recent stay and how we were treated by the manager, we will never stay here again.
