Okay Stay, but Not Worth the Price We paid around $400 for a Saturday night, and overall, it was just okay. There was mold in the tub (room 211) that really needs the caulking removed and redone — small maintenance issues, but noticeable. The staff was polite but not very engaged — not rude, just a bit indifferent. For the price, I expected a higher level of care and upkeep. At around $150–$200 a night, this place would be fine. But for $400, it really should have been better. You can stay across the street at Glenwood Springs for around $200, or even at the resort for about $600, which might be a better value. Unfortunately, I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

The place is currently being remodeled and it desperately needs it. The lobby and rooms smell musty. Never again!!!

Good location as a pit stop if you're driving through or need access to the hot springs spa. The man at the front desk seemed like he's never seen people before. It seemed like a bother to him to do check in and answer stay related questions. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

Well situated and a nice walk to local springs and for restaurants in town. The hotel is being updated but functioning effectively. Pool clean. Staff helpful. Breakfast more than adequate. I would happily visit here again.

On our road trip from Michigan to San Diego, my daughter and I booked a night at this Hampton, and it turned out to be one of the best stops of the entire journey. The hotel sits in a beautiful valley, surrounded by towering mountains that make for a picture-perfect backdrop as you drive into town. Check-in was a breeze, thanks to a wonderfully friendly front desk agent who set the tone for a welcoming stay. The lobby was spotless, and that same attention to detail carried right into our room—it was clean, comfortable, and immediately felt inviting. After days of travel, the bed here gave us one of the most restful nights of the trip. The next morning, we grabbed a quick bite from the continental breakfast before a seamless check-out and were back on the road in no time. If you’re passing through and need a place to recharge, this Hampton is absolutely worth it—especially if you’re a rewards member, which makes the stay even sweeter.
