Our Homewood Suites hotel is surrounded by a variety of restaurants and is 3 miles from the Foothills Mall. Colorado State University is a short drive from the hotel, as well as Historic Downtown Fort Collins, a fantastic restaurant and shopping district.
Our Homewood Suites in Fort Collins, Colorado is a beautiful hotel and features 99 suites, including choice of studio, one and two-bedrooms. All suites have a fully-equipped kitchen, full sized refrigerator, microwave oven, coffeemaker, two phones with data ports and WiFi access. Iron, ironing board and hair dryer are standard in all our rooms.

Kitchenette if you want to make yourself something. Swimming pool, close to other restaurants, grocery store, etc. All the staff were helpful, friendly and courteous. (Also a Tesla “destination” charger…perfect!).
- SLSheri LynchOct 25, 20252.0The staff was friendly and our bed was comfortable but honestly these are the only 2 positive things about this hotel. On the first night our heat stop working we woke up to a 63 degree room. After 2 calls to the front desk it was finally fixed. On day 2 we noticed a horrible smell coming from the silverware drawer, after removing all the dishes and washing them I discovered rotting food or a dead mouse in one of the pots. I put the pot out in the hallway and called the front desk. They apologized and said someone would come clean our room. No one ever came so we ended up going to the store to buy disinfectant spray and I cleaned the entire kitchen. Nearly every day our keys didn’t work which was quite frustrating. The hallways smelled horrible. I purchased lavender spray and used it outside our room just to keep from getting nauseous. The rooms are in desperate need of repair. Our kitchen sink dripped nonstop, the toilet lever is cracked and will most likely break for the next guests. One of our tv remotes didn’t work. No smart tv’s so you are forced to watch basic cable very similar to 1990’s. We were grateful for the kitchen because breakfast was inedible (powdered eggs). The washing machine and dryer were not functioning properly, it took over 4 hours to do one load. We would not stay here again unless the hotel was remodeled.

I think the furniture is just a bit worn out (or they have ghosts 😉) The view out the windows was great. Unfortunately, we had tons of trouble with the lock on our door though, and ended up stuck in the hallway for quite a while. The front desk staff were really kind and tried to be helpful, but eventually maintenance had to come and override the door to get us back into the room after breakfast. It made us late to leave for the airport, which was a little stressful.
