Close proximity to CSU, friendly staff, comfortable bed and great breakfast and Starbucks coffee. Highly recommended.

Your first impression is an overwhelming perfume smell when you walk in. Once you ignore the fact that you only do that to cover up other smells, the lobby is fine. Slightly dated, but fine. The halls have beat up carpet and the elevators rattle. The rooms are definitely in need of a major refresh. The good news is they have a mini-fridge. Bad news is they just randomly plopped it on the carpet and it barely opens. Want a microwave for the things in your fridge? Ha, no microwave! The bathroom faucet has one handle that barely turns, and the other is about to fall off. At least you have a pool and a hot tub to unwind in. Oh wait, they cemented over the hot tub. The location is great if you are here for anything CSU-related, which I imagine ends up being the reason this hotel survives. Beyond that, this is one of the worst large Hiltons I have ever stayed in. They clearly are just trying to milk out every last cent while putting in the least amount of it back into the building. And lastly, to add injury to insult, their huge parking lot that has no need to be a paid parking lot will cost you nearly $15 a night.

I stayed for two night in November of 2025. 1) The Hilton website listed the hours of the Spring Creek Bar and Grill as 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM for lunch. I went to the grill at 1:00 and it was closed. One of the important things for me was the availability of on-site food for that day because I knew I would not have time to leave the hotel. Room service is not available in the afternoon. 2) The carpet in the room was worn out. 3) Not a convenient location. No place to walk to get food or groceries. 4) No pen or paper in the room. I guess they think people will never need to write down a phone number or address when they are away from home. 5) They have a mini fridge but had no place to put it so they left it sticking out into the room next to the desk. 6) Mismatched furniture colors. I expected a bit more from a Hilton.

I was extremely disappointed with my stay here. They will nickle and dime you for everything here--breakfast is not included and is an extra $15, paid parking is mandatory and $15 per night (literally never had this at any hotel before), and if you are not an Hilton honors member then you have to pay for wifi. Oh, also, they will charge you $5 per water bottle for the ones they leave in the rooms. Absolutely ridiculous. The rooms weren't even that clean for the price I paid and the bathroom, shower and sink had hair in them. It also has a big open concept build and because of that, anyone being loud in the lobby is heard 6 floors up. It's not designed for light sleepers and I was woken up throughout the night due to people being loud and rowdy. And if the night could not get worse, for some reason they were having to "test" the fire alarm lights at 5 am in the morning which the front desk said would last an hour. One of the worst hotel stays in awhile and I will not be back.

This hotel has an amazing location, right across the street from Canvas stadium where our son’s football team played for the state championship. We decided to stay here instead of making the trip back to Denver. We thought it would be a great place to catch the end of game 7 of the World Series. Unfortunately the bartender here is awful, extremely rude even yelling at one of our coaches for being in his “walkway”. I think the hotel was pretty busy with sports teams and he took it out on us right when we first got there. We had 1 beer and the bartender had the security guard remove us from the watching area. We weren’t rowdy, we were spending money at the hotel - but the service was awful. The hotel didn’t even have a manager to speak to. This hotel is right across from the stadium, but apparently do not like sports guests. I would not stay here again.
