- JHJames H5 days ago5.0Great! Business-y hotels are often more board room than bed room but this one is well designed for living & sleeping space. My one gripe is both HVAC units were broken. One of them and its thermostats each have signs pointing to each other to adjust temperature at the other place šš And the other HVAC unit had a broken temperature control so you couldn't turn the heat down .. only up!
- SSshine84Jan 30, 20262.0Really sad to see this Candlewood Suites go so downhill. It used to be my favorite place to stay while visiting Fort Collins for the past three years. During my entire stay, there were overflowing ashtrays and trash on the grounds outside. There was also dead landscaping, valet carts with stringy carpet and marks/scratches all the way down the hallway walls. The whole place just looks so run down. My room had dirty carpet, chipped bathtub, caulk issues, and stained furniture. Not sure what happened but I will not return. The front desk people were very nice though.

Getting off the elevator on the 2nd floor, the entire 2nd floor smells like cigarettes. There was no coffee except decaf because they were waiting on a delivery. It seems someone should be ordering more frequently. Maybe a gift card to starbucks?? This stay was a nightmare. The mattress was so hard that I got up during the night to take some Tylenol because laying on my side made my hip hurt on the mattress. I will not be back to this location again.

Even found myself telling people I āhad to go back homeā when I went to my friends and families Thanksgiving celebrations.
