I was in an unsafe living situation, and I tried to stay at the hotel not only was I accused of stealing a phone that was never in my room, the cleaning staff didn’t clean, but also when I asked about safety because the cops told me to talk to the front desk, the woman at the front desk told me to go to a homeless shelter, even though I’ve already paid for my hotel stay it was so inappropriate. Then when I contacted management, they told me I would get an apology from her, but then I never did. I eventually spoke to the owner and she said she would be calling me back and I never received any correspondence from her. This is separate from all of the annoying construction, which I expected, given the circumstance.
The prices are going to be jacked up for graduation. I would sincerely recommend anybody who values their sanity or doesn’t want to give money to horrible people to find an alternate accommodation. I regret ever giving my money to this place and I hate how horribly I was treated. I don’t want anybody else to have to experience it.
you can put lipstick on a pig, which is what they’re doing right now to that horrible building.

Absolutely adorable! Located directly across from the CSU Field House and walking distance to downtown or the Max line, this was a perfect spot for our trip. While still under renovation as of now (3/23/26) the outside is deceiving. Great value for the money.

I booked through the app. Not one mention pool is closed, old hotel is being damn near destroyed, and no free breakfast. All of which were told were included when we booked with them. I have came here for almost 20 years. The owner is a kind enough of a woman.. but she lacks focus on the important details. The stupid ugly pink disposable coffee cups had more thought into them than how to change the rooms beyond just swapping light fixtures and throwing pink on the ways. The room was cheaply repaired... caulk everywhere.. very cheap repairs made to the door frame. Extra boards cut to be caulked in weird places... just is a bummer to watch this place CONTINUE to fall further and further down. These new plans to get rid of the pool and create a bar is going to diminish their old clientele. CSU families. Tell them bye now, cause I am telling you, they are not going to want to stay there. No one is, your guests are not getting what they are paying for. I sure didnt. We stayed here for our toddler to use the pool and was never told it was closed. Not only am I disappointed, I have finally come to the conclusion that is may just be too late for this place and I sincerely regret ever staying here and giving them another chance. I was embarrassed to tell my wife that there was no pool or breakfast after paying around $170 for one night (up $75 from what I was told the costs would be online too 🤣 this place is a joke and if not under Best Westerns name would have gone under 10 years ago. Wish it would be taken out of its misery because it was amazing in its hay day.

The staff is always wonderful here and I feel sorry for them with all the complaints they must be hearing.
I stay at this hotel atleast two times a month, this month 3 times though I am planning on looking at other hotels and canceling my reservation for next week because of how horrible the rooms are now.
The renovations are just BAD, the rooms are so tacky and bare. There is not even a chair just two very small stools, the new beds are extremely low to the ground. Our curtain which had holes in it, would not close and we had to get a clip from the front desk. You cannot turn off the bed side laps off from bed because of where the switch is.
The worse part they took away the microwave and fridge from the rooms which are still advertised. The breakfast are now a granola bar and a whole apple or orange.
It is really sad what they have done to this hotel, I know the change was meant to be “hip and cool” but it took all the charm and what made this a great place to stay.

The online description of this establishment is deceiving. It is a motel with no inside hallways, and a lot of road noise. Our room had no refrigerator, coffee maker, desk, or even seating other than the two beds. The decor, which they claim is newly remodeled, is a bizarre nod to 50s kitsch with leopard print carpet, and maroon and pink striped walls (really). The lighting is the bare minimum with one floor lamp and one bedside lamp. The room also smelled odd. On the plus side, it was clean and the beds were fine.
The hotel is undergoing renovations, so the pool and fitness room were closed. There was no continental breakfast. The coffee in the lobby was warm and undrinkable due to an odd taste. The tap water also tasted horrible but not sure if that is a hotel thing or Fort Collins thing.
The front desk staff were pleasant.
